A big thank you to Rebekah and the team at lj hooker for going above and beyond help me secure a property in a short time frame. The process was very smooth. I was looked after in the best way possible. Could not recommend a more professional service.

I would like to start off saying that no one takes the time to mention the positives, we only seem to have time for the little negatives.Big thanks to Troyah & Rebekah for being very accomodating and answering all of my questions and attending to all my concerns no matter how small, very proactive and professional.Couldn’t recommend another overall service just made the painful proses of moving house a breeze.

We rented an apartment in Darwin City for nine months. Our property managers Holly and Chantelle were out standing. All communications and any issues we had were addressed immediately. The girls are both extremely professional, friendly and beautifully presented.We would certainly rent through LJs in Darwin again

Absolutely terrible as a rental tenant. Extremely poor communication, properly manger Jessica , never replied my email or phone didn't come to inspect the property for 14 months I been living there . The most unprofessional people I have ever deal with. Would not recommend at all. I feel sorry for the landlords as their properties are getting utterly destroyed. I would actually give zero stars if possible.

This is for anyone renting with LJ Hooker Darwin, unless you are one of them, but before you leave their property make sure that you get your bond back before leaving and do not pay any extra. There is a brochure they provide, that you will pay one week penalty if you break your lease. Make sure that it is within your contract. For those who are not aware of rental laws in the Northern Territory - immigrants and vulnerable people as I am. If you are planning to leave before the end of your leave as in my case of work relocation. You can apply NTCAT with different reasons to get your bond back on time - it is cheaper. Janelle Jones and Toni Hoffensetz have fabricated some nonsense to keep mine and extra 2 weeks rent. Even though I notified them 2 months before my leaving. I also called Peter at Cavenagh Street (Mash Complex) for inspection, which he approved to be well cleaned than expected. So be careful, even though I will still get my money back in different way, but you do not need to go through unnecessary stupid and unprofessional issues as this. I hope this will help you. They will themselves encourage you to go to NTCAT - well, think a little bit as well..

Poor...I rented for three years with LJHooker. I have created a google account just to write this review.Each time I call I get transferred to an answering machine. The lady at the front desk will transfer you as soon as she can, it doesn’t matter whether the person she is transferring you to is even at their desk.The number they have for their company when you google search is incorrect...It took 5 days to get a rental reference sent to another realestate company so I could rent a new property after I moved. My new agent emailed them and called them on a number of occasions and so did I.I had to contact them after a week regarding my bond and vacate inspection. Their policy is three days for the inspection and to contact the vacating renter. They did not do this.They missed the last property inspection. Didn’t bother to reschedule.Customer service was consistently average.

Extremely poor communication, very poor payment system (which is unable to audited or review promptly or quickly), highly inappropriate requests upon departure. Would not recommend at all. They were good only at a very few times at best. Avoid at all costs - especially Landlords. We had an active termite infestation for 3 months and it still hasn't been fixed. I feel sorry for the landlords as their properties are getting utterly destroyed. I would actually give zero stars if possible.

I do not think they know what is customer service. Sends lots of emails, rings in the office and try to approach managers to let them know about issues but not a single word I hear from them. Lease is going to expire:no courtesy about letting tenant know about non renewal and its me who found out I have less than 10 days to vacate.Poor service I jave ever seen.

! agree with other low assessment reviewers. Worst property managers I have ever encountered. No returned calls, lease signed by tenant but they never paid or occupied; and what do LJH Commercial at Parap do? Nothing. zero. No calls returned, no information no follow up. I can only conclude they are going out of business as there are no signs of life. My property is still vacant.

If i was given the option to rent an apartment for free, i would still decline it if LJ Hooker Darwin were the agents. Totally agree with below comments. Highly unprofessional, not responsive AT ALL staff.It’s been over 2 weeks now i have vacated the property (as a tenant) and till this day, there has been absolutely no contact made with me by these people to give my bond back. I have left numerous phone messages and emails but to no avail. When i call reception, all she says is ‘i can only pass on your message to the property manager’. I feel so helpless.It’s beyond my understanding of how unprofessional can these agents be.
