Super efficient! Great for small businesses

I have been happy with a professional friendly service provided to me by Anthony at Compass Professional Advisors . To me, Anthony is a smart cheerful man. He is polite, knowledgeable and very patient. Furthermore, he has a good explanation skill. He is happy and willing to assist me when I have queries on tax or financial matters. He even adjusted some of the errors made by my previous accountant.Before I sold my investment property, Anthony explained the capital gain tax to me and helped me to work out the capital gain so I could make a decision based on it. After I sold my property, I told him I did not know what to do with the money I gained. He then referred and organised a meeting/s for me to meet with a financial adviser. I felt so comfortable when Anthony was in the meeting with me. When I was unsure or did not understand what my financial adviser said, he assisted me to understand and clarify the matter using his special explanation skills . With the assistance of Anthony and my financial adviser, my money has been settled and allocated in different asset groups.Anthony has been taking care of my tax matter for two years and I trust his quality of work. Called this company on the 9th of September to enquire about bookkeeping work, the gentleman I spoke with gave me a quote of $95ph and told me he'd send a letter of engagement through... then cricketsI called this company twice (once on the 13th and again on the 15th) to follow up, on the 13th I was told my email address was wrong -- I resupplied my email address and was told to expect this letter of engagement soon, I called back on the 15th after not receiving, I spoke to another gentleman who apologised and let me know he was going to follow up.On the 29th of September, I received an email letting me know that unless I gave them all my accounting work (bookkeeping, company tax returns, BAS etc.) and paid them $400 they wouldn't be able to help me.It's not the fact they decided I wasn't worth their time/effort for the bookkeeping work, it's that they made me wait for almost 3 weeks with no communication under the pretence that a letter of engagement was on the way.I've seen a lot of other reviews complimenting their professionalism and timeliness - this unfortunately was not my experience. If they had just told me off the bat that they couldn't offer what I was looking for I would have just accepted the fact and looked for someone else.
