Think the park itself needs some love and attention. When we went, lots of big dogs and a minor scuffle broke out. My dog was constantly sniffed by one dog and wrestled by another, not his most joyful experience. Will try again at a different time.

Thornleigh Dog Park
Thornleigh Dog Park is a great place to take your dog for a run & to socialise with other dogs. Owners are generally really friendly & enjoy at chat. The centre of the park was laid with a large piece of turf, so its really nice all year round. There are bags at both entrances & owners are encouraged to pick up after their dogs. Bubbler & tap, but can be muddy as drain blocks up.There is a playground next door, which is good for 4-12 yr olds. No bathrooms or BBQs but there are picnic tables.

Fully Fenced Dog park in a quiet location ... it is quite Large (over 100m long by 20m wide roughly) ; it is adjacent to the bush (Lane Cove NP) so the weeds are constantly climbing the northern fence... the ground is slightly slanted which makes playing with balls a little challenging, in fact there are too many discarded balls that are trapped by the fence downhill... all dogs share the same space, there's no separation between small and big dogs.There's a kids play area Next door which works well if you have little kids

Lovely dog park but some of the dogs should definitely not be allowed there and got quite dangerous.

A decent size, but offers the bare min. for dog owners, in the way of seating and shade etc. A functional place for dogs to exercise only.

Lovely dog park. With heaps of sitting areas and fake grass so is not muddy after a rain. A Lot of space for the puppy to run and play around

Thornleigh Dog Park
While visiting with friends in the area, I attended the dog park many afternoons. Lovely bunch of dogs and owners. My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the dog park. We especially loved the many tennis balls available!
