Platinum Tuning

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I cannot recommend platinum tuning enough!I have had my G6E Turbo tuned on a few occasions, as modifications required.Every time was a great experience with excellent communication and even better results!It’s nice to drop your pride and joy off with complete confidence in the guys doing the work.Very happy customer.

Words can't express how happy I am with the outcome of my mx 73 cressida, a big thank you goes out to Joel and his team at platinum tuning, not only is the work carried out with precision, and done professionally but their openness to be available to talk you through what needs to be done at any stage was also appreciated. Cant wait to return for the next stage of my cars overhaul and highly recommend anyone that wants the job done properly to give these guys a call

I had my maloo serviced at platinum tuning on Friday, drives like a dream.Great guys and fast service.

Came in with huge expectations, left with even higher expectations. Joel, Spencer and the team are easy to deal with, know there stuff and quick workers. Can't recommend enough!

Car: R33 GTRContacted Spence and dealt with him through the tune, he seemed switched on.Quote was acceptable initially, he had to do very minor work easily able to be done in an hour but took him 3 hours on top of the tune allowance which ended up costing around an extra $500 all up, costs moved up extremely quickly. (Including oil and spark plugs)Once job was done the invoice was sent through, absolutely no payment plan was available and was advised that the bill was due that same day. When asking Spence if I could pay over a couple weeks due to the extra costs incurred and a family emergency in Perth, Spence flat out rejected then started questioning my integrity to pay as well as questioning my financial situation which I found extremely unprofessional and rude. He suggested if it was going to take long for me to come up with the money he would add costs of storage on to the bill. Absolutely no empathy towards a customer.Car was towed home, when it arrived the car would barely idle, cold start is terrible, a touch of the accelerator and the car will stop, after letting car warm up it will seem fine, after driving it it stalls and poses a hazard on the road. When contacting Spence he stated the car was fine when it left his shop he honestly believes that the cars cold start was fine, during the process I wasn’t informed at all about how bad the cold start was. I told him that I wanted a turn key tune on a car worth around 100k, which he now is blaming the injectors yet not a single mention of this previously as messages prove the car was apparently perfect then it left his shop.DON’T GET YOUR PRIDE AND JOY TUNED HERE!Incredible incompetence!

I had such a great experience with Spence and Joel. They really care about the cars they work on and listened to my concerns and what I wanted to achieve. Spence took the time to explain everything to me and even see it on a power run which was great. He showed me what we need to do next and was very approachable. I've been to nearly every tuner in southern tas and these guys are miles ahead. Will not go anywhere else ever again
