Australia Post Business Centre & Parcel Collection

3 parcels. 0 delivered.- I work from home on a permanent basis. I'm in front of my laptop from 8:30 to 5:30.- Doorbell is extremely loud it's impossible to not hear it.- No card was left in the postbox.- I receive parcels from other couriers all the time (i.e. Amazon)I am fed up with Hawthorn AUS POST lying that they attempted delivery and failed because no one was home. I don't remember the last time I actually received a delivery from AusPost in person.How could they get paid for lying?

Bad but not like by accident. It's mostly malicious and on purpose.Really enjoyed showing up to find it's not even open on Saturdays anymore.Their staff should just dump parcels on the street as it's now impossible to find time in work hours to pick them up.I wish Amazon delivered contact lenses then it wouldn't matter

Incredibly poor service. Do the best you can to avoid using their services if you work full time, as they are only open weekdays during 9-5. This is on top of the fact their posties don’t bother attempting delivery, causing every delivery to be manually collected during an annual/sick leave day.

It’s crazy when the delivery is “missed” because “no one’s home” but no one ever knocked, rang the doorbell nor tried going through the OPEN gate to the unit! NOT THE FIRST TIME this happened! So sick of lazy delivery men!

Definitely the worst aus post collection centre I’ve experienced in my life. Staff look like they want to die, such poor and depressing service. I had just moved and hadn’t had time to change my new address yet and one of the staff members made me cry and then laughed at me. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

I've had a few issues with posties not attempting delivery or delivering to the wrong address, but the staff in the DC are always friendly and efficient when I go in for assistance or to collect a parcel. I also love using the parcel lockers here, just wish I could use it as my delivery address more often when ordering things online. As a shift worker it's great to be able to pop past in the wee hours and collect my parcels.

The workers are nice there, they work with what they have of course. The main gripe, like everybody else suggests, is the hours. Closes at 5 pm and no weekend. I have no idea when I'm supposed to try and pick up a delivery. I do use the Parcel Boxes now because of this issue but it's not exactly in a nearby location for me. Also, I think this may be the fourth or fifth time no card was actually left. I think most, including me, are under the suspicion that AusPost drivers don't actually even attempt to deliver some packages in a day.Lastly, I hate to say it, but Amazon is a great alternative because they deliver on weekends, deliver promptly and deliver themselves rather than using any courier service or AusPost. They also communicate much better. I'd rather it not be this way with Amazon being what it is, but here we are.

They are friendly and polite at the post office but it’s the third time since December that the drivers have not bothered to ring the bell to find out if we’re home (which both myself and my partner were, because we are working from home). Took it straight to this post office which, once we’re back in the office, we won’t be able to collect from unless one of us literally takes a day off work as they are only open during business hours and no weekends. Really needs to be sorted out.

I would put zero star. It is the poorest service. They should make sure the people who's receiving people there have the good formation. People who is receiving should be able to know something about the system and more. They shouldn't be there to attack client like nothing and cannot give you the information you want and the worst they treat you like nothing. You are not welcome there. They are the boss there and you should accept everything from them. Most of them don't deserve to work on reception, put them away.

Its so annoying to make sure you're home for a delivery only to never even hear a knock or doorbell (would have absolutely heard it). What's worse though is there is no possible way for full time workers to collect the package with opening hours ending at 5pm Mon - Fri. Its nuts, I've never lived elsewhere in Melbourne where I couldn't pick up a parcel on early Saturday.
