We're talking what 50k 60k for a piece of paper? It's very unmatched to uni. The lecturers are unprofessional, they know how to scold and degrade you. Egotism is where you'll find it here. When it comes to preparations.. it's very much like primary school... unorganised, unestablished, no pre-lecture instructions. You literally enter the room, and they don't even know what they're doing themselves, they're stressed, overwhelmed & psyched out. You waste every second, waiting for them to get themselves straight.

Great to see the new campus. Kyle took me on a guided tour...such a helpful member of the staff.

The Australian Institute of Music is the worst. Their website is very deceiving and it is nothing like that in real life. They make great marketing videos but it is nothing like that in real life.

I really enjoyed attending the Vocal Skills short courses and Instrument Skills, Guitar, Keyboard and Drum Skills short courses. I was going to return to attend their Bass skills course too, but the course didn't take off due to the lack of the minimum number of students, 4. Each attempt to get the Ball rolling was unsuccessful so those plans were scrapped. Even if the short course department expand the performance side of music with more instruments such as brass, woodwind, strings and percussion. I don't know if they will get off the ground. I would like them to try and bring back acting and dancing to the short courses, maybe bring them to OPEN AIM. I might return in the future and attend some on the composition and production side, such as music theory, songwriter, DJing, music production for the songwriter and studio recording. Wether it's one on one or a short course. Either way will suit me. I would like them to run more weekend intensives beside DJING.

Having studied at numerous institutions I can say this institution teaches you some raw things that one must know. How to promote yourself and manage time as well as your public profile. Highly recommend to those who are willing to be versatile musicians and not too stuck in their ways.... it's how the field works.

My son attended the workshop on Saturday 12th November. The level of professionalism, support and encouragement for all the potential 2023 students was quite remarkable. Each encounter I and my son have had with AIM staff has been fabulous. Polite, generous with their time and genuinely interested in what his aims are, give me confidence that AIM is definitely the right choice for him.

AIM is such a wonderful and vibrant place for learning. With top tier facilities and fantastic teachers, it is the ideal place for anyone with a passion for music who wants to grow and progress and gain a foot in the music industries door.
