Lion's Lookout
Nice lookout, on top of the hill, overlooking the construction works that are currently going on at Shute Harbour.From the lookout, you can glimpse some of the beautiful blue waters of the Whitsundays.Some picnic tables, and a BBQ as well !The bus stop is right at the lookout, so perfect to drop in and have a look for a while. Take a stroll around the area … but there is not much to see and do though. No coffee shops, no restaurants…And then you can head back to beautiful Airlie Beach .

Lion's Lookout
Amazing views. Limited parking. Signage confusing as google maps calls Lions look out at the very top of the hill. Huge development under way currently under construction.

Lion's Lookout
This is not a touristy place, it's just like a common lookout for people who wanted to drive and see what the Airlie Beach can offer. There's still some works to be done. But the view is amazing.

A lot of renovations underway due to cyclone Debbie. Still a good view but not much else to see at the look out just yet.

Lion's Lookout
It is a stop on your way to board a ship or to go hiking in the bush. The view is somewhat unimpressive. Also, they want to make you pay for the parking for some reason. A big no&no for a view and location like that. It is a good to stop and rethink your today's choice to turn that way. Better turn around and go your way or drive a bit further to stop at the bushwalk entry point and sweat your way to the beach

Breathtaking views or the bay and islands. 270°views of the water well worth the couple of minutes to get here.If you haven't been here to look over Shute Harbour you haven't seen a fraction of the beauty that lies at Airlie Beach.The drive to get here from Airlie is great too with rainforest and mangroves.

Sweeping views of harbour and mini-islands. Still got major construction down below - tourist n marina. Estimated completion end of 2021.Car park available. Also bus-stop. Picnic tables. Staircase walkway to the bottom of the lookout/harbour.
