Very creative dishes. But the real hero of this place is the toilets. Like something out of a private hospital. You could bring a sleeping bag and lock the door. Don't want to complain, but no shower facility.Truly very good food, coffee and service.

Came here for breakfast as I was in the area. Had the Big Breakfast and it did not disappoint. The young waitress was friendly and provided good service.The meal itself was delicious and the coffee was excellent. So much so, that I ordered another as a take away before leaving.Quite a busy location at 10am on a Saturday, which is to be expected. Meal was still out very fast! Well done!

Outstanding coffee and food. Looks to be a well loved and supported by locals and newbies. Family oriented, so if kids arent your thing be advised its definitely kid friendly. You will not be disappointed giving this place a go though. Value for money given the brilliant food on rotation and the superb coffee at hand. The staff are seriously friendly and happy to be part of this establishment. I always leave this place with a smile and feeling chilled. My only grumble is I wish it was closer to home so I could visit more often ❣️

super friendly staff, genuinely my favourite place to get breakfast/lunch in Melbourne. Amazing coffee. A lot of places who make their food “photo worthy” don’t follow through with taste, but this place 10000% does.

I absolutely LOVE Common Room! It’s my home away from home. The staff are professional, fast, friendly, and fun to converse with. They have a genuine interest in giving their patrons the best experience. The food is always fresh and of the highest quality. In truth, I am in the cafe at least 5 days a week because I dig the vibe. Thank you Common Room, for providing the best service, food and experience! ❤️❤️❤️

Had a great breakfast here,would swap the cheese in the breakfast burrito for Haloumi but otherwise was very good.
