What a fabulous shopping experience I had at Art & Soul Collective. Beautiful pieces and fashion all high quality. And the owner Jacqui was in the store and helped me find just the right things for me. She’s super friendly and extremely helpful - and we had a laugh too.I love what I bought and if in Bangalow again, I’m heading back in.

Had the pleasure of shopping at Art and Soul in Bangalow today, it stocks a wonderful range of African art from my beloved homeland. All made by local peoples from Eswatini to Malawi, the magnificant light installations made from recycled glass are an ingenuous nod to the creativity, resilience and tenacity of the glorious African peoples.

I discovered this gorgeous shop over the weekend. Customer service was outstanding, the shop owner was very knowledgeable about the artworks and beautiful artisan pieces for sale.The clothing range is Fabulous!

Really loved this place, such a gorgeous selection of pieces and stunning artwork!Found so many gifts and accessories for my home. Loved the clothing - really beautiful quality. The lady who owns it was so helpful and really lovely to deal with, very knowledgeable and not pushy which I liked. Made my impromptu visit very enjoyable and will definitely be going back!

Sadly, this store stocks racist sculptures and colonial figurines, and appropriated African artefacts.I’m not sure that the owners are aware of the racist and colonial overtones of the goods they sell, but it’s an uncomfortable place to be in.It’s very disappointing to see that such things are still sold (and created) in 2023 to decorate people’s homes.I hope that the owners and artists would take the time to understand and reflect on the history of such items and the harm they cause.
