Left my contact details on the website for a price inquiry on a specific service. 5min later I get a phone call from a male who somehow had no idea on what service I wanted, who sounded rude and pushy from the start (twice bluntly saying the reason for this phone call was from the website inquiry). He basically funneled me into making a booking when really I was after a price quote. Literally had to interrupt his question gathering to get the quote. Didn't even 5 seconds for me to confirm a booking time I was comfortable with.Anyway, rang up another business and make a booking with them, much more comfortable experience as it should be in a customer service industry. Autoking, I'm not questioning your automotive expertise, you could be the best in the business, but you guys lost a sale thanks to this Muppet on the phone. Interesting how other people have reviewed the same issue.

I was after a roadworthy inspection and, after seeing their website say they beat any quoted price (key word is ANY), I decided to give them a call. I was told their price for a RWC is $110. I told them I was quoted elsewhere for $99 and asked for a better price as their website says they will beat ANY quoted price for a RWC. The guy on the phone from Auto King refused to beat or even match the $99 I was quoted elsewhere. Which is fine. But not when your website says you beat ANY quoted price. ANY...perhaps time to reassess that promise.

We had a car service done-were very efficient, reliable & good communication. Would definitely recommend. The guy was very helpful & very friendly.

Auto King completed a mobile roadworthy inspection of my vehicle and were fantastic. The booking process was simple and they fitted me in straight away. The guy who came out to see me was professional and polite and very efficient in getting the job done. I was very happy and would work with them again.

First impressions were good, mechanic called ahead and came earlier than arranged which worked for me. Seemed competent and diagnosed my problem in a couple of minutes confirming what I had already suspected, charging me $125 for the pleasure. Then arranged via text the next day with final costings and requesting the go ahead for 8am the following day. Despite informing that we wanted to go ahead with the repair and that the next day could work, we asked if the day after was possible. No reply. At 8am the next day I asked if he was coming and he said no and asked if we could do the next day. Which was fine, but left me in an awkward predicament for transporting my heavily pregnant wife around and being late for work as a result. Then at 8:30 the following day he advised he wouldn't be coming and likely not available for a further 2 days possibly more. Once again this left my pregnant wife who was reliant on her car being fixed as agreed in the lurch. Totally unacceptable to leave people waiting til the last minute to cancel 2 days in a row and then delay the job for 4-7 days. We chose them because they could do the job within the week, which they later failed to do. Called their office and requested another mechanic to complete the job this week, which they couldn't do. Refused to give a refund on the monies paid for the diagnosis or compensation for the taxi charges required as a result of their failure to even attempt to complete the job as agreed.- Poor communication- Poor service- Poor dispute resolution- Completely unreliableIf you're in a pinch, I definitely do not recommend them.

I had a pre-inspection done on a vehicle I was purchasing. The mechanic was really nice and Auto King were able to change the location of the inspection last minute which I appreciated. Unfortunately, it seems like a major issue was missed with the clutch resulting in a $2800 repair only a few weeks after purchase which is a major blow being on a student budget (I can’t carry out the repair).
