Hubbie and I stayed in room 3 ..Lovely and clean..Very thoughtful layout ..great size bathroom..comfortable bed and pillows..Convenient and quiet location..Appreciated the reserved parking too..Both of us highly recommend Anchor Geelong..great place and great price.We know where we will be staying next trip..

We had our first experience at Geelong for the Spirit of Tasmania and decided to stay the night before the day sail and chose the Anchor, it was so comfy and well worth the money, easy drive to the Spirit the next morning and a relaxing way to start our holiday.

We absolutely loved staying here! Very close to the waterfront, the shopping centre etc. The rooms were tidy and the best was super comfy! We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend to anyone and everyone!!

Exceeded our expectations in every way. Extremely comfortable space.Loved our room which was perfect for our needs. Great facilities with on-site parking. Much better experience than standard motels + self catering if needed. Close to CBD, adjacent to hospital and about 4 blocks from Emerge Steakhouse which was superb too. Loved our stay. Would highly recommend.

We only stayed there for one night but staying there for longer would not be a problem - it’s so nice!The room looked great, we loved that there was parking, and we loved that we could use Netflix on a nice TV - all for a good price. It’s also super convenient to use a keypad rather than checking in with a room key and needing to return it.The only ‘con’ about this place was that it’s near a hospital with a heliport, but we only heard two flights and it didn’t disrupt us much.Definitely would recommend this place.

Easy check in/out, lovely room with everything we needed. Some people have said it was noisy because it’s close to the hospital but we started two nights and didn’t have any noise issues. Easy walk to the main shopping/restaurant area.

Great location, clean rooms, big TV with Netflix, WIFI and on site parking. Beds were comfortable and shower was lovely. I will say though, it’s very noisy. We were woken up several times throughout the night from other guests and passers by as it’s very close to the street front. We also couldn’t lock our door at all, the door is damaged due to weather which made us feel a little insecure at night.

Couldn't fault anything with Anchor. Hayley who i dealt with regards to our booking was extremely helpful and responsive.We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved Anchor. Walking distance to most things including the foreshore, shops and cafes. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and the bathroom is huge. We stayed in Room 7 which is at the back so no issues with noise.

Stayed here for one night.Pros: the place is clean and tidyBeautiful room with heating and flat screen TV.Has everything that you need in the room. Close to lots of shops and restaurants.Bed was super comfortableEasy check in/ check out.Cons: little bit noisy because we were near the laundry.However the pros outweigh the cons of this place. It was very lovely. Will definitely come back!
