I stumbled across Markden Auto Rep and got a second opinion, they not only quoted me a much lower price but actually recommended me to hold off on doing it as it's not necessary. These guys have done a lot of different jobs on my Forester over the years from brakes and tyres, window switches, aircon, suspension to a recent car saving engine repair. They are always willing to check it out on the spot, take it for a drive if necessary give an diagnosis and book it in and repair in a timely manner with great communication and great prices. Thorough and trustworthy. Recommend highly.
