Best pharmacy in Balmain. In every and each of my visit, the staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond!Once, a genius staff member invented a makeshift arm sling specifically designed for my condition. Thanks to him, I carried my arm normally and continued my normal life.We need to see more businesses like this pharmacy prosper in the area.

Extremely friendly and efficient service, and great value considering the specialist nature of compounded medication. The pharmacist even remembered my baby daughter and asked if she was feeling better the next time we were in. Highly recommended.

We were able to fill a script for pain relief for my dad in palliative care on Good Friday. We tried so many chemists in Sydney and after trying at least 30 and 5 of us calling around they were the only one who were able to help. Best anyone else could do was a 4 day wait…so very thankful!

Quoted $180 over the phone for compound and when I turned up it was $198 but he said we can claim it back on private but that is only $20 which is what he overcharged me for!

I needed a prescription filled. I went to the fist chemist and they told me they only had the generic brand. I wanted the original brand, so i went to the next chemist... Amcal Balmain. They filled the script, put it in a brown paper bag and I paid. It wasn't until i got home that I found I had been given the generic brand - BUT without telling me.At the same time as buying the original prescription, the pharmacist suggested i also take pro-biotics. We exchanged 2 sentences over this - why, and when to take them etc. I said it sounded like a good idea, and so he added them to the package.I paid for the shopping, but was quite surprised at the total cost, so i asked for the receipt. It was only when i reviewed the receipt that i saw the cost of the small bottle of pharmacist suggested pro-biotics were $40! That was quite a surprise, and at no time did the pharmacist mention how expensive they were as part of our discussions, or before 'popping them into the bag'.When i realised the cost, and with the receipt, I went straight back, returned the bottle and asked for my money back. I was refunded the $40, without a fuss, other than being asked whether i would some another brand that was cheaper.I am generally dissatisfied with the whole experience.I received generic brand prescriptions without being told. AND I was sold a small bottle pro-biotics for an undisclosed price (only to later find out they were $40).

Booked a flu shot for after work, got there 20 mins early and they told me the immuniser already left. The pharmacist was very nice and apologetic.
