Cooroy RV Stopover

Love this stopover, so cheap $12 per vehicle per night. Lovely open grassed area would fit any size vehicle. Lovely friendly camp ground host lady, very welcoming, great at her job there, wish more like her. Highly recommend. Town of Cooroy very nice, lots of good shops and a nice library.

Best RV stopper I’ve ever experienced. So quiet! So spaced out (no one is parked on top of each other thanks to there being plenty of room). The website doesn’t work and no one answers the phone but there is a physical payment station inside the park (see the photos) where you put cash in an envelope and write your details on it. A dump point and paid water refill station are outside the stop as well as some non potable water taps. One part of the stopover is gravel and where the bigger rigs go, the other is swampier where slide on campers and vans tend to stay (these aren’t rules they’re just observations). Pets are allowed on leashes. You must be fully self contained and no tents are allowed. It’s $12 per night (it’s per vehicle not per person). No campfires. Really quiet.

It's a nice green grassy spot with a Dump Point.and water refill. Just such a shame that the Toilets and showers are locked up in the sports grounds. There is also some sort of factory that started making a bit of noise at 5 am on a Saturday. I heard from a neighbour it stopped yesterday at 4pm. She mentioned it goes on during the week. So for $12 it may seem cheap but you do put up with some inconveniences. Nice walk to the RSL. Does get boggy if it rains.

Large, flat grassy areas, but vehicles over 12.5 metres not permitted, apparently, but really unsure why. Unable to access the website to pay and unable to use Hipcamp to pay on the day; need to book ahead. It is confusing where to go to find the caretaker. Great dump point and bin set up. Noisy factory next door which did not bother us but may bother some. Lots of mozzies as it's next to the wetlands. No amenities. Websites and other platforms all need updating.

Self contained vehicles only, so no good for simple vans that need a loo

Great short stay stopover in a delightful town. Level grass areas, no noise after dark, shops and services nearby.

Good camp area. No toilets or showers. A bit noisy in the morning with the factory next to camp ground. Close to town. $12 per night honesty box.Only 4 nights maximum.

Overall good experience, except from the noise from the factory next door that woke me up early.
