Excellent haircuts in a space that is homely and comfortable. Always great music, relaxed atmosphere and no pressure to buy add-ons or expensive hair products.

Really disappointed and quite upset about my haircut. Alex didn’t listen to what I was asking for, seemed very blasé about cutting my hair and in the end I walked out with a strange kind of mullet. After explaining that the shortest layer didn’t connect with the longest one I was told he’d need to take more length off to fix it (which is exactly what I stated I didn’t want to do when I first came in). I went home and after a day or two called the manager who offered me a refund but only apologised for me not having “clicked” with Alex. Very poor response especially leaving me stranded right before Christmas with a crummy haircut and refusing to try and fix it . I’ve since had my hair cut by someone else, who has done what she can to fix what Alex has done, confirming that it was cut poorly, and after years of growing my hair long and just wanting some fresh news layers in it, it is now short again. Not happy!

This is the sweetest little salon. I felt so welcome by Saya upon making my appointment and the rest of the team during my haircut. Mike understood exactly what I wanted even when I wasn’t sure myself! He made sure I left the salon happy. I was anxious towards the end as I always am but a couple days later I fully appreciated what an amazing job he did and felt compelled to leave a review, which I don’t usually do. Such a positive experience with a wholesome and warm family! I’m new to Melbourne and josh and mike gave me lots of advice about not only my hair but the city, which was so kind. Thanks guys I’ll be back :)

This place is a little plant sanctuary. This place oozes warmth and comfort. They are also amazing hairdressers! Couldn't recommend this place more highly.

Love this place.It's so homey and there's two kittens! And if your allergic it's ok they have a solution for that. It's so inviting and comfortable. Best head massage in the best chair I could have fallen asleep!If you can't tell already I'm rather excited because I normally hate going to he hair dresser. But this place is just lovely and they did such a good job on my hair.Thank you xo

This will be my go-to salon here in Melbourne. I had my fringe cut by Natsumi the other day and it was perfect! Really happy with the result and the price was really reasonable. I found the atmosphere to be really homey and chill as I'm not into hair salons that have a busy/unwelcome/arrogant sort of atmosphere. The people working here seemed genuine and kind.

One of the most wonderful hair salon experiences I've ever had. Saya took nearly the whole day to carefully and thoroughly go through all my hair (I have so much) to give me lovely highlights. She made me one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had (so creamy and in a cute pink cup) and their lovely cat Cabbage came and sat on me and gave me a cuddle while the product took effect. Mike was playing lovely records the whole time and Saya gave me a massage after washing my hair. It was a real sensory experience, the salon is so cosy, Saya and Mike are wonderful people, I loved hearing their stories, and my hair turned out great! Highly recommend ✨

Called and booked an appointment for 'ladies' cut + fringe. Was quoted $75-95 which seemed reasonable. Cut included a wash with an amazing head massage, plus I was offered a tea or coffee while I was waiting (appointment started 30 mins late, however this was fine for me. Just fyi if you're in a rush), coffee was machine made (wow?). Alex cut my hair and I was so amazed by the finished product, it was my first time there but he took into consideration what I wanted plus offered his opinion which turned out to be one of the best hair cuts I've had. Ended up costing $80 which I am very happy to pay (although keep in mind the price may vary depending on what you're after).Also I read one of the things they had lying around which was something to do with sustainable hair cutting and reducing waste + sustainable product recycling, which I'd assume they take part in and I love that.Overall very happy to spend my money here and the service was welcoming and incredible. I was also notified of a free fringe touch up between appointments which Id assume is for recurring customers, so if you're thinking of going here then I would highly recommend to.I'll definitely be back.Thanks Alex, and thanks to everyone else that treated me very nicely.
