Prouds the Jewellers Armidale

I got a bracelet for men for a gift, asking if i could swap it if the size was going to be wrong, the lady there said that of course that could be done.obviously, it turned out that the bracelet was too large so i had to go back to swap it. However, a different lady told me that all the bracelets for men were all the same size.The lady who sold that bracelet to me lied, then, she did not tell me they were all the same size just to close the sale!Because i could not have it swapped with a smaller size, they refused to give me a refund and tried to sell me anything else.i went home with a gift card instead. I tried to buy something else online, and when i received it, it was defective.Even then, it was quite hard to get a refund and they tried to sell me again other things, even though their policy says defective items can be refunded.i'll never buy from Prouds ever again.

They try to sell as much as possible to you not taking care of what you really want. Very annoying.Very small selection for men braceles

purchased a watch today. got home isn't working ... rang and the shop assist said she would have to send it away . not happy ..resolved next day . thankyou very much for helpful service. happy

Really helpful. Had a watch with a stuffing up clasp and they temporary fixed it and gave me very useful advice and pointed me to another jeweller where I can get it fixed.

Lady served us had no knowledge of watches we were looking at. Kept her smile and eye contact at min as it was possible. Kind of feel like she was not willing to serve us.We had a terrible experience and ended up buying a gift from the shop just because there was no other shop around there. Definitely different experience from what we had a couple of years ago in the same shop when we used to live in Armidale.Too sad to see shops are closing down in the town..

only bad experiences both in store and online, will never be buy Prouds again...

The usual after sales care, none. We have purchased a number of watches from Armidale Prouds over the years & anytime we have required a new band or battery they have never been able to help. The latest purchase had the band adjusted in store, within a month the band failed & the watch fell & is damaged. Staff are full of excuses as to why it’s not their responsibility & then she claimed she felt attacked. We have never ever attacked anyone & as someone who has worked in retail for many years I am appalled at this disgusting claim. Seems a convenient statement to make when you are in the wrong but want to put the blame on the customer.A second staff member apologised to us on the way out.Shame on you Prouds Armidale for ripping off a 17 year old who saved for his first ‘good’ watch.

customer service was terrible. the staff who served us did not know what they were talking about and all the staff was rude. so not recommend this jewellers

A great jewellers with a lot of quality merchandise. A fun place to shop for wrist watches, especially Seiko Chronograph Solar watches and diamond rings when they have a sale with 50% off.
