Had the best experience at Paperbark this weekend! Chef Rob made us feel like we were dining at a five star restaurant in Melbourne with his careful curation of meals and Jess at front of house made us feel like we had a perfect balance of home cook attention and five star service. Will definitely be back! Can’t wait to see what else this dynamic duo do for the Newcastle foodie scene. 10/10 would recommend

I was subtly surprised by the well developed menu paperbark bistro provided. My partner and I (and yes, we are foodies!) were in town for a quiet night in after visiting some family in Edgeworth for the weekend, and did not expect to be treated to such a display of art on a plate. And at such reasonable prices! This must be the best value for money - and value for palate - I’ve ever experienced. Do yourself a favour, and visit the Paperbark Bistro for a meal that will make you feel like you are dining at your nonnas table again after so many years.
