I have taken 4 different rats to this vet over 3 years and the lady vet has treated them well, performed 2 successful surgeries. They have chronic mycoplasma issues which is unfortunately normal in pet rats, they are born with an uncurable respiratory illness which flares from time to time but can be managed with medicine.Today one of my youngest rats is very ill with said mycoplasma. He and my other youngest have never responded to the antibiotic that we are able to keep at home, and I asked for the one that always works. The receptionist told me the reason that my rats keep getting sick is antibiotic resistance. While yes, antibiotic resistance is a problem with rats and mycoplasma, it is NOT the cause of flare ups (there has been multiple sources of stress and air pollution recently). This is an incurable disease which will show again regardless of what medicine I do or don't give to the rats, and I found it very upsetting that I was being lectured as if I have not done my own research.Of course I will still give a higher star rating than I would otherwise simply due to the vet herself being amazing.In future I will limit my interactions with the reception and make appointments on the online booking as I am tired of trying to talk through them, even if this means having full in person visits every few months instead of getting meds dispensed by the front desk. This is inconvenient because I cannot drive and need someone to take me every time, however I already have social anxiety using the phone as is without having to argue and do not want to repeat this again.

I cannot recommend Dr Gabrielle and her team highly enough. They are professional and caring. We were a drive-in on a busy Saturday morning with an Italian Greyhound fracture. She not only saw us immediately, but was calm and professional and did an amazing job at splinting the leg to allow us to return home. Thank you very much!

A very thorough check, and helpful advice

Definitely do not recommend for people with larger dogs I had quit a stressful experience with them while trying to get my pit bull X staffy puppys second vacination done very rude sighing and rolling eyes at me and my partner they continuously fed my pup large treats to calm him down in which stopped him from pooping for almost 3 days I asked for the one injection the C4 and they gave him the heart worm injection as well with out even asking me if I wanted it done yet. Never again will I be using this vet as I've been informed they treat most people with big dogs like this I thought I chose the best vet for my pup but turns out I was wrong

I am incredibly grateful to Dr Scott and Dr Gabrielle for all of the hard work and dedication they provided for my beloved kitty, Cosmo! They went above and beyond their professional duties to find out what was making him so unwell! I am eternally grateful for all they did for us and have so much respect for the incredible nurses that are on their team!I will forever remember the care and love they gave to Cosmo. Thank you!

This week our 10 y/o Maltese X had to have his teeth cleaned and needing teeth removed GVC did an amazing job, they looked after him and he’s recovered after his biggest vet visit. Thank you for an amazing job done. Highly Recommend.

The only vet to go to. Scott has been looking after our fur babies for years and we wouldn't trust anyone else.
