The Floating Forest

My partner and I had a wonderful few days staying in the Tingle Cabin at Floating Forest while we prepare for the arrival of our first baby.Dale and Louise were wonderful hosts - lots of personal touches texting us with details on how to get there, welcoming us on arrival with many great recommendations and then giving us lots of peace and quiet!The cabin was just perfect- great little kitchen making it very easy to cook at home if we wanted. I personally loved the spa bath - exactly what I needed and a very comfy bed to fall into. All of the fittings were very high quality, which is not always the case with holiday rentals.Wonderful views from our deck of all the beautiful trees and the inlet and loved all the beautiful sounds of surrounding forest and wildlife. We also enjoyed a massage at the wellness centre - an amazing facility full of loving hands. We will be back!

Quite possibly the best place I have stayed in Albany! We could not fault it. Dale and Louise were so welcoming and friendly, they were easily contacted and super helpful. We stayed in Earth cabin and absolutely loved it. The bed was very comfortable and warm. There is a fireplace stocked with wood and firelighters and a little kitchen stocked with coffee and tea. We were very warm despite it being winter. Soap and shampoo provided for guests to use. Incredible views from the private balcony area, very peaceful and serene. You couldn't ask for more! We will definitely stay again.

We spent four nights in the extremely comfortableTingle cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very well equipped, sparkling clean and the view from the deck is beautiful. There was an abundance of birdlife on the property and daily visits by kangaroos. Dale and Louise are excellent hosts and we look forward to returning very soon.

What a great place for your stay in Denmark.On the outskirts of town with stunning views of the inlet. Wildlife abound. Kangaroos parrots blue jays and kookaburras aplenty.The chalets have everything you want for a short stay, even a log fire for the chilly nights, but if that’s too hard the aircon works fine.You need a car as there’s no footpaths on the main road from town. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We're so happy with our stay at the Floating Forest, everything about our experience met or exceeded our expectations. The cabin we stayed in was beautiful, clean and cosy. Great price, unobtrusive but helpful and friendly service from Dale and Louise. There is literally nothing bad we can say about this place, we can't wait to come back!

Amazing- couldn't fault a thing, 4 nights here celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary was perfect. To wake up to these beautiful views each morning was priceless, the wood fire made the room so cosy and the huge bath tub just melted away any aches from the days hikes. If you need de stressing this is the place to do it.

My partner and i stayed in the Earth cabin for 2 nights. Absolutely incredible views and location, 5 minutes from the town center, but far enough to be private and serene. All the little touches really add up, from free firewood, coffee pods and kitchenware, high quality consumables and more.The cabin itself is really special, worth the trip itself. Sharon and Damien have made something wonderful here.

I like the cabin. You can see the stars because there isn't a lot of light pollution. The fireplace is great for roasting marshmallows. Spacious and clean rooms. Beautiful surroundings, all trees and sky.

I came to The Floating Forest Float Retreat looking for a relaxing time to unwind from a demanding schedule and it exceeded my expectations. The property was beautiful with views of the inlet amongst a bush setting with an accompanying choir of birds chirping and kangaroos visiting daily. My cabin (Karri) was well maintained, modern and clean with a fireplace for cold, cosy nights in and views from each window of the bush and/or inlet. The bathroom was large and included a large spa bath and additional shower with a large shower head. Dale and Louise were the perfect hosts who were helpful and friendly but also unobtrusive. The property is close to all amenities while being just far enough away to be immersed in a calm oasis. In addition, the property provided the perfect wellness centre for relaxation and reflection with a plethora of therapies from various massages, beauty treatments and of course, floats. The centre was well maintained, modern and clean amongst a beautiful bush setting. The hosts and therapists were friendly, welcoming and incredibly generous with their time. Highly recommended.
