Towers Hill Lookout
Stunning views and the bathrooms were clean.DO NO LISTEN TO GOOGLE MAPS. You'll end up on a dirt road. Just head to the end of town and take a left. The entrance is signposted and the road is steep but not hairy at all.

Wow what a great experience, download on your phone for an amazing experience with history of this area and its bomb shelters, the rare and endangered rock wallabies are also amazing to see. Very Pretty area with 360 degree views, rugged and well planned area

Great lookout overlooking Charters Towers and countryside to the south and north west. The place to be for views of sunrises and sunsets.Story of local gold mining. Plenty of parking available. Disability access.

No tickets required. Cool outlook and view. Informative and if you are lucky you will get to see the rock wallabies that reside there too.

A beautiful spot that overlooks Charters Towers. There were no people at all which allowed us to explore freely, as the place was filled with informative signs and pictures. On the way up to the lookout, you'll see World War ll bunkers which have video and audio presentations inside them.

Towers Hill Lookout
My mate and I stopped here during our stay in Charters Towers. The scenery from up there is quite nice. Unfortunately we were unable to watch the movie that is played there of an evening due to it needing repairs, however the WW2 bunkers had video and sound in some of them. It was amazing to be able to stand in the actual WW2 bunkers and think about the sacrifice so many made for us.
