Great ride. We've only done the wulkuraka to fernvale leg which is about 40km there and back. We always stop and have a pie at the fernvale bakery. There's only one steep spot, you could definitely get off your bike and walk it. Wouldn't try to push a kid through, I'd say 14 and up. Make sure you've got some padding on you bum, it's bumpy in many parts.
