This place is a Gem. Its location on the river opposite Hindmarsh Island is perfect for walking your dog and bird watching, especially the beautiful Pelicans. Yesterday whilst walking my friends dog, I tried their coffee and had a take away egg and bacon sandwich and was very happy with both. Today I sat outside and enjoyed their perfectly cooked Big breakfast and another coffee which was consistently good. I noted that they have a lovely selection of cakes and also dog treats for your furry friends. The Staff are lovely. Thank you! I'll be back when next in town.

This is our local" coffee place... we head there almost every day. Cannot rate this place highly enough - all the staff are wonderful

This Cafe is always packed when I drive past, so I thought I better stop and see what all the fuss is about. I was blown away by how lovely the staff are and can see the love and care they put into their coffee and customer service

We had a delightful light lunch in the outdoor setting with views of the river. I highly recomend it. It is dog friendly too!

Wouldn't wanna have a sore hand from relieving yourself the night before or have arthritis, cutlery couldn't even cut the toast. Coffee was bitter, burnt like taste. Rude lady making coffees (blonde with nose ring), not hard to smile and act like you wanna be there. Had the big breakfast at $20..... would strongly recommend driving past. Big breakfast at the golf club @victor harbour for $25 was better value and wayyyy better. Won't be back. Get it together.

We live a little way out of Goolwa, and we consider ourselves as local. We frequently walk from the car park opposite the Riverside Cafe to the end of Liverpool Road. Usually keen for a coffee etc. at the end of the walk. Have been to this place quite a few times and not always had a good experience. Decided to go again to give them another chance rather than go to Hectors or Motherduck. However the service was extremely disappointing. Cake delivered to the table quickly but we waited and waited for coffee. Others arrived a little time after us and received their coffees well before us. Had to go and ask where ours were. This is not the first time we have received such poor service at this place. If this is how they treat a local and potential repeat business how do visitors fare I wonder? Wanted to give it another chance and they blew it!

Great spot overlooking the river, excellent coffee and usually freshly baked muffins.
