First time looking at wedding dressing, they have a great range of sizes and styles. I was very happy to have dresses that fit me being a size 18. The lady I had assisting me (Angelita) was very lovely, made me feel comfortable and pulled some great selections once getting an idea of my style.Took on feedback of what I liked and assisted me to even try styles I thought I wouldn't like to rule them out. spent a bit over an hour helping me try on dresses and was lovely assisted with dressing up a dress I liked.

Had a great experience and was able to find my dress easily with the help of my very experienced consultant. Only criticism would be that they seem to mainly stock designer range in extra small sizes.

I can honestly not speak more highly of the team at Fairytales Bridal Boutique over in Nunawading, especially Marylee.I had heard wonderful things, and decided to make it my first stop on the wedding dress shopping list- and as soon as I walked through the door, I could see why it was so highly recommended.Such a wonderful selection of gowns, catering for all needs! However Marylee made easy to navigate, and she made me and my team feel so comfortable, welcome and most importantly, confident! She gave great advice, and perspective, which is exactly what I needed to say 'yes to the dress'!I would high recommend Fairytales Bridal!

The Fairytales Bridal Boutique in Nunawading is a great Melbourne location for finding your perfect wedding dress. They have a large assortment of dresses from local designers and Maggie Sottero, including a good range of plus size wedding dresses and affordable wedding dresses too. Plus the stylists there are so sweet and friendly.

My first appointment was great I found my dress and ordered it in November 2021, I was told it will be in story in July 2022 with alterations starting in the August. Come September 2022 and I called up to see where by dress was, I was advised another bride was getting married before me and needed the same dress so it was given to her, I was told my dress should be in by early December (my wedding is late January).I was talking to my bridesmaid who decided to call them and stress the point there has been no communication about my dress and we need a date the dress will arrive by, she then advised it will be in by November 22, and it was. I then go for my alterations appointments and get my invoice with a lovely note at the bottom.. “ Spoke to maid of honor Georgia, bride gone into meltdown - advised that gown delivery would be sometime in November”.So rude! Even if I was in a meltdown, you gave my dress away and didn’t tell me.

Our first appointment at Fairytale was really good, we got a lot of help and thought we almost found the dress but we weren’t 100% sure! So we came back a second time after having a look at a couple more stores and getting a feel for what we actually were wanting (the first time going was only our second store). When we came back a second time, we realised there were only a handful of dresses that caught our eye, and when trying on the dresses, we weren’t falling in love with any of the dress! By about the third dress, we noticed the staff who was helping us was getting frustrated with the bride as she just wanted her to settle on the dress. She had a stern tone and was rude when asking the bride what don’t you like about the dress, and said to another staff annoyingly “uhhhh she’s not happy” and it didn’t feel like she wanted to help us rather just wanted to make a sale. Wedding planning is a stressful time especially when it comes to finding the perfect dress, so when a staff is blatantly showing a bride that’s she’s frustrated with her not picking a dress or not liking any dresses that were tried on, it adds extra stress and ruins thee experience. Our 1.5 hour session, was only a 30mins session. Really feel sad that it was a bad experience for the bride, when it’s meant to be a happy moment.

I has the most amazing experience with Kaitlyn at Fairytales today. As a plus size woman I was concerned about finding the right dress and feeling confident during the fitting, but Kaitlyn was such a helpful and beautiful soul. Made the try-on process a breeze and made me feel like a princess. This was my first time trying on dresses and we found the dress easily with her help!Thank you Kaitlyn!!

I went into Fairytale bridal today in a panick as I needed a wedding dress and had no luck elsewhere. I was greeted by a lady called Sonia who was an absolute gem. She helped me to no end and actually found my perfect dress. Thank you so much Sonia. You won't be forgotten. ❤️

I went into Fairytales Bridal Saturday 04.03 with no idea what to expect. The appointment was everything I wanted/needed and more. Sonya was incredible, she knew from the moment she met me what vibe I was going for and picked me the most beautiful dresses to try on before finding the one! Even then she still had me try on a few others to ensure the decision I made was the one I wanted to. I would refer anyone onto here. They listen, they care, they pay attention, it was everything I could dream of and more.

I really enjoyed my whole experience at Fairytale Bridal Nunawading; it was very easy, stressless, and quite fun with my mum, sister and two of my bridesmaids.I originally wanted to visit another boutique in the city that weekend, which was recommended by one of my friends, but saw Fairytale whilst driving home and popped past.After seeing the range there and discussing the whole process, I decided to book an appointment. I originally wanted a certain style of dress and was fitted with it first (we all fell in love with that) but wanted to make sure so we tried on a few other styles as well. The lady that helped us was very patient, friendly and constructively helped me in making a decision; she bought different veils out, necklaces and headpieces so I could get my head around what I wanted to do on the day. I actually didn't realise you needed a minimum of 6 months for wedding dresses and I went in around 5ish months- my dress came with a month and a half to spare.I'm really happy with my dress (my husband love it too.. his face when he first saw it still makes me laugh!!!) I had no problems throughout the whole experience.
