Touch Up Guys Hastings

VCAT Claim pending for the extortion of AN EXTRA $325 which was charged at the last minute - post job completion - completely out of the blue. Craig from Hastings Touch Up Guys NEVER mentioned or quoted the full amount of $825; instead he lured me in, under the proviso that the full scope of works would cost $500 and then slapped me with an additional $325 after he dropped my car off (at my place of work), knowing full well the circumstance (of my location) would force me to ‘cough up’. I was in such a state of shock, sickened to my core and ‘numb’ from ‘being robbed in broad daylight’ that I just paid the extra money and are now in the process of ‘recovery’. Most quotes received for the FULLY completed job (which was also unfortunately, not up to standard) were between $150 and $500. I chose Craig (being the most expensive quote of the lot, at ‘$500’) due to the convenience of the process; however he extorted those extra funds and refused to rectify the situation when I offered him the opportunity to refund the $325 excess. He has since involved the National Manager of The Touch Up Guys and together, they are now subjecting me to legal bullying! Beware before dealing with this franchise and more specifically the Hastings operator!
