Adina Apartment Hotel Adelaide Treasury

This hotel is in a charming historical building in the center of Adelaide city. The location is good, about 8 to 10 mins walk to the main shopping street & central market. The hotel bar is nice & has a decent well priced wine list. Service at the bar & restaurant is good. The food in the hotel restaurant is not great so I do not recommend eating there. The selection on the menu is limited.We checked in on 27 April & checked out on 30 April. Our room is number 66 on level 2. Below the the windows of our bedroom is the place where the garbage truck & delivery truck park in the morning. On our first morning 28 Apr, 5am, the garbage truck was making a lot of noise & we heard glass breaking, we woke up at 5am and it was difficult to sleep. After the garbage truck left, the food delivery truck came at 7am. These trucks left their engine on the whole time they were parked there so there was a constant noise of the vehicles in our bedroom. Hence we didn't sleep well. When I booked the hotel, I requested for a room with quiet facing. As first time guest of this hotel chain, I am disappointed & I will not stay in another Adina hotel again. We gave this feedback to the friendly guest relations lady at the front desk. She said that the only room available for the same category is one which is on the ground floor facing the main street. Hence we could not swop room & stayed 3 nights in the same room. We were given ear plugs. To sleep in a hotel for 3 nights with ear plugs is not really what we want to do during our holiday. We paid AUD$900+ for 3 nights.The dryer in our bathroom is old & does not work well, the door is faulty, does not close properly. Our room did not look like the one in the photos when I did my booking online. Overall I think it is a hit or miss when you stay in this hotel. I read some good reviews about this hotel so it is whether you are lucky to be assigned a quiet room or not. I think guests with rooms facing the inner courtyard may be better off than the ones facing the streets.

We booked last-minute on a long weekend for our 13th wedding anniversary. The staff were excellent and really took care of us, thank you. The room faced King William Street but was very quiet and traffic noise was extremely low, kitchen was neat & tidy, room was exactly what we ordered & comfortable. Pool and sauna area were clean, water was perfect. If you're not from Adelaide, please note that this hotel is pretty much the centre of the city, everything you need is close & there is a tram stop almost at the front to take you anyplace further.

This is a superb place. One of the best customer service I have had... Right from reservations to check out, they were superb and helpful. Rooms are suitable and neat. Very good value for money. Great location in the heart of adelaide.

This is a phenomenal hotel. Centrally located with big and lovely rooms but I especially wanted to thank James for his exceptional service and welcome to Adelaide. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay and thanks again, James!!!

Would definitely stay here again. Respectful, quiet, great courtyard for hanging out in. Room was clean and well equipped but tv didn't work

I enjoyed a wonderful four night stay while in Adelaide for a short holiday.I chose Adina mainly because of the location, being my first time in Adelaide I wanted to stay in the centre of the city, and this location was perfect.My room was excellent, spacious, comfortable and very clean. I couldn't fault a thing.The building was simply superb, a historic government building that has been maintained to a high standard. There is a gym and a lovely courtyard - though I believe the courtyard is for restaurant visitors.Parking was offsite and charged additionally. You will be given a keycard to enter a nearby parking building, which gives you unlimited in and out privileges.The service was top notch, the person at the front desk remembered my name when I needed to query about extending my stay - this was very unexpected and made me feel like a valued guest.There is not one thing I could fault about my stay here and I look forward to staying again the next time I am in Adelaide.

Super friendly staff made me feel welcomed to the hotel & the city when checking in, great location in the CBD, bed was amazing & while not cheap the food & service at Treasury 1860 restaurant was also excellent. No complaints at all.
