Don't even know where to start. Abundant collection of films and music, huge diversity in what's on offer, my only complaint is I lose all self restraint when I'm flicking through your shelves. In particular I appreciate the rich collection of heavy music on vinyl, but lately I'm finding as much joy in the film sections too.

In a world of fast, rapid change. One of obsolence and pursuit of the newest thing or technology, this shop is a godsend.Sometimes JB-Hi-Fi just is not able to scratch that itch when it comes to the perfect dvd's. But this place manages it everytimeI have bought many a dvd here, and they also have band t shirts, CD's, Vinyl, some of it original, and laserdisc if you feel that way inclined.

Was only in melbourne for a few days but visited here twice because it was so good. I could’ve spent hours browsing the shelves. Ordered something online recently and it came straight away. Can’t recommend this place enough.

This store is fantastic! I always find gems on DVD & CD. There is so much here that won't be found on streaming services. The staff are always helpful & approachable. The store is always clean and easy to navigate. It's my favourite store in Melbourne CBD.

I’m no film buff, so I will give PLAY the benefit of the doubt when it comes to movie selection. Walls are stacked ceiling high.As far as records go, they did have some rarer joints you don’t see elsewhere. But the prices were obscene (!) and inconsistent with other record stores or even Discogs for that matter.Feels like they’re capitalizing on Australians’ willingness to pay more for vinyl than they should, not knowing what stuff is really worth.
