The entrance of this place is at the cement recycling plant. The point you see on the map when you search this place is actually the exit gate which you cannot enter. It would be beneficial if the maps will be updated. Otherwise, the experience of going there is ok. There are areas of segregation for different recyclable items and green waste. There will be people there to assist you where you will drop your stuff.

The staff at the drop-off area was terrible. No manners, disrespectful, and no support at all. One of them came to us with poor communication skills and couldn't communicate in English language. He shouted at my husband for about a few minutes with extremely aggressive demeanor. We did not understand what he said. Two of them were spoken in their language and was laughing at us like something funny but it is not funny to us. It's terrible experience. Unbelievable still have kind of people like this in Australia. If we did something wrong, we're willing to apologise and improve but we didn't understand what he said, a staff just keep yelling at my husband. They are unfriendly. It doesn't make things better if you are unable to communicate in English language, couldn't provide manners or have a basic of communication skills because we won't understand.

Now you have to go through the concrete recycle place next door.$5 minimum charge for two bags of grass clippings. Was free before. For a large amount I agree charge a fee as they did before.. Just put a sign up before I line up.I pay my $1400 pa council fees.I'll just put it in the bin at home. What a rip.

In the old days you use to take grass to the Wallgrove road one and you would pay nothing and as a courtesy you get given one or two bags much or compost ,last one was yes you go over bridge and Waiiiiiit green light comes on.. example is once I got charged $10 for a full trailer ,next time I went 3 weeks later was charged $20 for half trailer and a bag of cut grass and when I mention to the Girlnot nice manners also" that I paid only $10 for more load .. the answer was "well she is not here and I am pricing accordingly"..so yeah it leaves doubt .. unless ofcourse the Big girlis on Ego boost being young

It's basically a park with containers where you dump your recyclables in. Good to get rid of excess recyclables if your recycling bin is full. There needs to be some improvements though:1. Increase staff number. There should be at least one staff member per section for QC purposes. I've seen some rubbish littered in the containers, and recyclables being placed in the wrong containers.2. Entry check-point should be positioned further inside the park. If there is a car queue, you may have to wait on the road or footpath. This impedes traffic and can be quite dangerous.

I came here to drop off some electronics on the first day of the Sydney floods (July 2022), so the weather was atrocious. In the torrential downpour of rain, I failed to notice the ‘STOP’ sign before the entry booth and the lady inside immediately proceeded to gesture violently and scream at me to drive back to the sign, and scolded me once again when I got to the window. I was stunned and apologetic, explaining it was an honest mistake and regrettably didn’t call her out on her aggression as I was flabbergasted. I even apologised one more time before leaving the window. But I felt extremely put down and humiliated, as I’d just come to drop off some recycling and instead got screamed at for an honest mistake. What an absolutely humiliating experience! I made a complaint to Fairfield Council, providing her name, hoping they reprimand her for absolutely appalling behaviour, as I’d felt terrible for hours afterwards and it was an honest mistake. On the plus side, the staff within the site itself were very helpful in guiding me to the correct place for my items, confirmed the items that were acceptable and advised me what to do with those that weren’t. This saving grace saved me from giving 1 star.

There is a new entrance further up the road since the old entrance at the junction is now an EXIT only.More coordinated this time.
