Lilly & Dee were so patient with me. I don't get to treat myself to a cut very often so I struggle to describe the layering I wanted. They stepped up and glowed with their patience with me. I finally got the style I was looking for from this hairdressers, when others had either refused or couldn't understand my description - 5 star service.

Dee and her team are absolutely phenomenal!We have been going to see Dee for over 10 years.Her quality of work and professionalism are second to none.Her knowledge and expertise of colours and cuts is amazing and anyone who has the pleasure of coming to see her is a lucky person.I will not trust another person with my hair.

BE WARNED. This salon records your conversations. NO NOTIFICATION OR WARNING OF THIS DISPLAYED ANYWHERE.I'm from Sydney and thought I would try a local hairdresser close to where I am temporarily living. What I discovered is the worst hairdresser I have ever been to. I asked on 2 occassions for balayage + lightening the colour on the roots and on both occassions ended up with just a block colour. 1st time I went back and asked for more blonde on the bottom (balayage) so they added blonde to the bottom. I had also specified at the start no ashy colours and she coloured my hair ash. Had to add toner when I returned for the adjustment but she also toned the really blonde bottoms which I loved resulting in a block colour again. Reluctantly, I gave her another chance for the next service and she stuffed my hair up again. Went back several days later to discuss the results and owner denied I asked for balayage WHAT ???She responded that balayage would have been an extra $28. - which I would have paid because that's what I asked for. Proves she just doesn't listen. She obviously thinks she knows what you want more than you do.When I returned to discuss the colour and to check what I had actually paid for (as no receipt was given to me) she advised me she had recorded me saying I didn't want balayage. Told her to find the recording and to send it to me via email. She said she would but suspect she doesn't. Owner does not listen and has a poor understand of colour with very limited skills given the results. If you want anything more complicated than a trim go elsewhere. If she couldn't understand the brief, she shouldn't have accepted to do my hair. I have been getting the same colour scheme done in Sydney for over 15 years (from 2 reputable hairdresser's over time - but they leave, never to be found) and never had anyone stuff up the brief like this hairdresser has. If I said on the recording No Balayage" I will remove this negative review. If this review is still here

Dee and Lilly are the most approachable friendly girls. The salon has a relaxed friendly feeling. I highly recommend them. They also know their stuff. Best colour I've ever had. Thanks ladies. Have a very Merry Christmas. See you in the new year.

I was lucky to be introduced to Raw Hair through their generous donation of a weekly blowdry for a year voucher for a Ronald McDonald House fundraiser. I have continued to have my hair styling, cutting and colouring done at Raw and love the personal service and great relationships I see they have built with their many regular clients. I highly recommend Dee and her team.

I have been to this hair salon a few times but my last hair cut was really not what i asked for the lady seemed a little rude and didnt listen to what i said when i tried saying i wanted my hair different to how she was doing it, honestly worst hair cut ive gotten. Every other hair cut done by the owner was amazing though

Just had my hair cut and coloured by the amazing owner Dee/Owner... she totally gets what I want every single time ... again....LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair, I always have a fabulous experience and walk out feeling amazing. I HIGHLY recommend RAW Hair. Since coming to the salon my hair has been the healthiest is has ever been.. GREAT SERVICE ALWAYS! Nothing but good things to say never had any issues... !
