Bermagui Flora & Fauna Reserve

Lovely nature reserve with access to the beach, just watch out when it rains, the ground becomes water logged...

A beautiful nature reserve that streches behind the sand dunes of Moorhead Beach. This high conservation wet land area site is home to numerous birds that inhabit the coastal forests around Bermagui. Many species of birds fly from around the world to spend time in this particular wet land to breed. There are numerous bird hides for those keen bird watches to sit back and observe the wonders of this besutiful part of Bermagui. At this point it is also the start / finish of the Bermagui to Wallaga Lake coastal walk...a spectacular 6km walk along the coast line to Wallaga Lake. For those visiting Bermagui , this Flora reserve is not to be missed..... if you do have the time, allow yourself the opportunity to enjoy the coastal walk to Wallaga Lake. A photographers dream!

This spot isn't well known but it's gorgeous!

A beautiful, peaceful lagoon with black swans nesting two chicks. Walk the boardwalk through to the beach. Listen to the birds and the frogs.

Boardwalk and walking track through some marshes. Plenty of wildlife to be seen.
