We stopped by for a snack and were pleasantly surprised. Great chips are hard to come by, and this place has them. The staff are lovely and the chips are crunchy. What more could you ask for?!

Appalling customer service , after I ordered my burger and asked for no tomato and no beetroot, My burger was made with both. I took the burger back in and just let them know that I did ask for no tomato and no beetroot after I said this. The man turned around and said “if you don’t want it chuck it out then you might as well order a bacon and egg roll I’ve been working here for 20 years” like that’s an accomplishment…. With 20 years experience you should have better customer service so you’d think… if your thinking about buying anything from this place save yourself the rudeness and go else where.

Best bacon & eggs!!! So much food. It was so delicious. Very nice staff aswell. Our giant meal which wasn't even the biggest option was $13 each. Some places around here want $18 for muesli! Pete's place is fantastic! Check it out.

Nice place to stop for a rest and enjoy some fish and chips or hamburger by the beach.Nicely positioned in the middle of the Esplanade in Palm Cove, this place has a convenience store attached , as well as the fast food section.Bacon and Egg roll was very fresh, and delicious.Plenty of outdoor seating in front of the shop or the side street. Otherwise, cross the road and enjoy your snacks and drinks by the beach.

Despite there only being two other customers in the place, the service was incredibly slow. We waited 15 minutes for our order of one portion of chips and then for the chips to come out COLD and OLD, well that was the cherry on top. To be fair, the staff were apologetic and brought out some “warm” chips but they didn’t taste very fresh (another LONG wait despite us being the only customers there). They offered us a free small tub of ketchup as a gesture. The drinks were very overpriced too. $3.50 for a small bottle of water is pretty extortionate! It’s in a good spot (directly facing the beach) but they need to up their standards.

We did a bit of a walk around the Esplanade on our first morning in Palm Cove and came across Pete's Place. We liked the sound of a burger, not normally something we would buy. I ordered The Max, which had the works. The meat patty was very tasty and perfectly cooked and was accompanied with all the normal salad items and bacon in a large bun. The flavour was amazing, the best burger I've ever had. The location is right on the water and it was a great introduction to Palm Cove for us.
