Travelodge Hotel Bankstown

All in one! Accommodation, international food, cafe, entertainment with underground parking and of course… poker machines. And if you like Vietnamese food, it it’s next door to Bankstown, the 2nd largest Vietnamese shopping area in Sydney, and 20 min from the largest Vietnamese shopping area, Cabramatta. It is our favourite choice whenever we visit Sydney.

The Hotel is located within the confines of the Bankstown sports club which is initially confusing finding the right entrance. The parking is best accessed via the entrance closest to the hotel (Mona St I believe), unless you want a long walk through the Bankstown Sports club complex. Speaking of which, you must join the club (free membership), which added to the initial confusion.Once you have navigated the initial obstacles, you access the rooms via a glass elevator to the rooms which proved to be clean and cosy. After you settle in, the Bankstown Sports club is at your disposal, with no shortage of bars, restaurants and, unfortunately from my perspective, an ocean of pokies. We spent a single night at the hotel, and found it met our meagre needs well.

Awesome service and hotel! Great for a day or a night. Attached to the sports club you can't go wrong. Also receptionist Kevin is 11/10 on customer service. Remembers your names and provides discounts for returning guests hospitality as it should be!

I booked a room and on level 5 it was full of Cockroaches I called reception and they where very helpful and they moved me up to level 10 in to a king room very nice and beautiful views but the bed was the worst bed ever most uncomfortable bed to sleep on.

Staff was very accommodating to our needs. I arrived with my family of 6 and asked for a 2x twin bed room. The staff approved my request and very kindly gave us a double room instead. They were very understanding. I would definitely stay at this hotel in the mean future.

Bankstown pick for accommodation, but prices vs quality can vary. Nothing special room wise.

Great place to meet up with loved ones fantastic food

At first, I felt that the check in staff were not so welcoming. When my brother was looking for the vouchers that I was going to use, the check in officer asked how long will it take him to retrieve and referring to the other guests that lined up behind him which was just 2 or 3 on queue.. I mean it shouldn't take that long I could imagine. But anyway, they were able to redeem themselves as soon as they were freed up, the other check in officer called my brother to complete the check in requirements. The earlier officer who was assisting us also provided some toys for my nephews. I like also how convenient the location was to other restaurants, coffee/tea shops apart from the numerous restos at the ground floor of the hotel. Overall, we had a good stay and would still consider going back again

Really lovely clean rooms. And very quiet. They're not big, but comfortably suits 2 people. Well appointed amenities. Easy access to Bankstown Sports and all their facilities.

This is literally an all in one spot, excellent choices for food in the restaurants and eateries on the main floor.It has a nice and spacious gambling floor.The staff is nice and friendly and the price for drinks aren't too costly.The actual hotel room was neat and tidy and if I can I would stay there again.
