I truly don’t understand why younger people can’t pick up things, I was there and I had proof of purchase but they would’t let me pick it up. That’s fine I get it but they were also kinda rude, I was waiting in the queue and when I went up they just shut me down instantly which sucks because I was waiting all day just to ride for 15 minutes for nothing. 2/5 a little bit my fault but I’m salty.

I just had the most unpleasant experience at this post office. The 2 ladies at the front desk were incredibly rude and unhelpful. I asked if I could borrow a marker pen to write the address on my parcel and she reluctantly handed one over, but snarled to ‘make sure I give it back’. After I assured her that I would not be stealing her marker, I wrote the address on the front of the box (whilst at the counter, as there was no other customers), and was about to turn the box over to write the sender details and she snapped ‘marker back please!’ to me. I told her I’m happy to buy her a whole packet of markers if it makes her happy, but I just want to finish writing the sender details, to which she responded ‘I don’t lend my markers to people. I don’t know what you’ve got. You might have Covid!’I’m absolutely shocked that a postal worker can speak this way to a customer. Then she refused to quote me on insurance because I didn’t have ‘the exact $$ value of what was in the package’. Even when I said to her I estimate it’s approx $150, she refused. Eventually, after I told her that I didn’t have any issue insuring my article last week at the melb GPO, she reluctantly gave me a figure for the insurance. I then asked her why she was speaking to me in a rude fashion, when I was being respectful and then suddenly both postal workers started raising there voices at me. I was absolutely livid by the time I left and in my state, I didn’t notice that she hadn’t taped up my parcel (as they normally do) until I was leaving in my car. Hopefully my parcel turns up to its destination, lucky I got the insurance!!If you can help it, don’t come here. I was having a lovely day until I encountered these two old bats.

There is two women that work here that do not know the meaning of customer service. So arrogant and just plain rude. Someone needs to revise the staffing or apply some measures on how staff treat their customers. We were treated with such disrespect for asking information on how to apply for a passport for my mother. Some people should not work in customer service if they cannot apply it. We ended up going to Footscray Post Office where we received such wonderful service. Never coming to this Post Office again.

I'm a local and have been coming here for a long time. I've always had a pleasant experience until today. I don't know if this particular lady was having a bad day or not, but I had to relodge a return. I understand we all have a job to do. Ppl make mistakes as I did.But complaining I hadn't take off the pre existing label for the hew labels, when I've had no issue in the past, to then saying the new barcode couldn't be scanned, due to my screen being set to dark mode. And stressing out reacting saying it won't do it!!You’re in customer service

Personally, I found the ladies here really helpful with resolving a strange change of name issue I had on my post account. Another post office didn't even bother and sent me away!

The staff here are beautiful full stop.Ive been attending here over 10yrs for parcel collection due to my home address being inappropriate for parcels. The girls here always take care of me. Reading these other reviews, I honestly think it comes down to people not being used women who are confident and just happy in themselves. Strong women are always taken the wrong way! These ladies always make my day. I'll never forget I was having a particularly bad day and being served by such welcoming and engaging women at the registers just made me realise there are still good people in the world. These women go over and above for me - every time! And purely because of these lovely soul's, I'll always come back. Service is exceptional! My only issue with Aussie Post: when did Saturday opening hrs change? A bit sad I cant pop in Saturdays but thats ok.

They wouldn't let my wife pick up my parcel, I then went in and stood in line for 25 minutes with 2 toddlers, finally got to desk and they wouldn't give me parcel without ID, failed to advise me that I could use the Australia post ID in the app which I worked out when I got home. I wasn't able to get back into the store for some days and now my parcel has been returned to sender in QLD. I get a notification after it has been sent back to sender. What's the point in spending tax payers money on app technology if it can't provide a reminder or manage collection better?

Most of the staff (not all) are like prison staff. They speak to you like a dog and snarl. I just drop packages off and get the eyeball roll, looks of death and bad service. OMG this place is so negative. I walk in wait, proceed to be served I say hi how are you and I get nothing, not even a response. Really nice. If you hate your job leave. Customer service on average is 0/10. Go somewhere else.

Driver didn't even attempt to deliver to our fully staffed office. Parcel went to Williamstown Post Office but refused to hand over to myself due to the fact I didn't have current photo ID because I'm vision impaired and awaiting eye surgery. Had an Expired Victorian Driver's Licence (with Photo only a few months out of date), Medicare Cards, Bank Cards etc. Nowhere did i ever agree to anything requiring.a photo ID. Rudest customer service ever.
