A lovely, peaceful property with amazing views. Well equipped, super comfortable with all the little extra touches and facilities one appreciates when staying away from home. Wish we were able to stay for more than one night - next time for sure!!

Even with the cold start to spring, the house was welcoming and cozy. We lay in bed in the mornings and watched the mist roll through the valley. It was tastefully well decorated. Feeding the alpacas was a treat and the boys enjoyed the treasure hunt. Visited by the fairywrens every morning. :)

A great place to take the family. We took our in-laws visting from The Netherlands. It's the exact image they had of country life in Australia.A great spot to take your telescope with you. It's an elevated position. I took my GSO 10 inch f/5 dobson. Unfortunately, the moon was out.

Home away from home with an amazing view. The kids loved the gifts on their beds and feeding the alpacas, we loved the spacious, fully equipped home and of course the complimentary bottle of wine. Highly recommend this and we can't wait to go back ourselves!

What a great find was Tegwans Nest, and perfect for our 3 night stay for 2 couples. One couple at one end of the house and the other at other end so nicely privateCentral kitchen, pantry & separate dining room, was extremely well set up. Cosy lounge with wood burner, and magic views from the long front deck. And did I mention how sparkling clean it is!

This is a fabulous 4-bed family holiday accommodation. With chickens, sheep, and alpaca's on the fields around the property it's a great space for little kids to come. View from the deck is stunning. Would 100% recommend

Our second visit to Tegwans Nest didn't disappoint - the first visit was just hubby and I, the second time around we were 5 adults. The home has everything you could possibly need and the complimentary bottle of wine with a personalized note coupled with the chocolates on the beds on arrival are a lovely touch. We loved the early morning coffees on the deck with the birds (we saw the blue wrens!!) and the late evening cheese and wine with the stars!!Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this little getaway to anyone looking to get away from it all for a while......thank you Stuart and Bernadine.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Tegwan’s Nest. I loved the mystery of waking up to such spectacular views having a coffee on the balcony and spotting rabbits running around simply fantastic. Queenie have us quite the send off too.

I absolutely loved our long weekend in Balingup and our stay at Tegwan’s Nest. The house was absolutely spotless, which is no mean feat in the often-dusty countryside. There are so many thoughtful extras in the house too. A selection of board games and puzzles plus a big box of old school Lego too, which is great for kids and grown-ups alike. Outside on the back verandah you’ll find a dart board and a telescope for star gazing. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could need – I’ve never stayed somewhere where everything I looked for was there. They also include teas and coffee, including a pod coffee machine with a good selection of coffees and teas.At the front door, you’ll find enough chopped wood to last your stay (if you’re there during the cooler months) plus a selection of wellies in case you forgot yours.Stuart and Bernadine have come up with some fun treasure hunts for the little ones around the property as well, which is a good way to get your kids out and exploring the property. They even have different difficulty levels to make them age appropriate.Tegwan’s Nest is perfect for a quick getaway from Perth and ideal for families wanting to show off our beautiful state to family and friends visiting from overseas or interstate.I know that if we have family come to stay this would be a great base for a trip with them out of Perth.
