Birubi Beach
Beautiful beach with beautiful red colour rock formations. It is next to the departure point for many sand dune tours. So it is a great spot to explore while waiting for the tours. The dune is an amazing place to visit, however due to the number of tourists there you will see some rubbish which really spoil its pristine beauty. Around the upper carpark there is a restaurant, Cafe and toilet with showers. This beach used to have pipes (as might still have them) but now there is a big sign prohibited you from removing them from the water, which is a great initiative from the council.

Have been coming here for sunsets the past two decades. Always spectacular, make sure you get here about half an hour before sunset and stay until the sun is truly down.

1. Go there at least one hour before the sunset.2. Enjoy the sunlight going down and its reflection on the shore.3. Have a walk on the dunes and take some stunning photos.4. If you can, don't go on the camels please (would you be happy having hundreds of strangers on your back, forcing you to walk in a never ending loop all day?!)5. Enjoy the sunset.

Birubi Beach
Beautiful beach in itself where the bare sand and water are..... but extremely disappointing how the area has allow extremely invasive weeds to take over the area..... bittou bush is no joke and this actually broke my soul..

Birubi Beach
Huge beach with wide sandy area and good waves for surfing. Can go four wheel driving on the sand dunes and camel riding.Small restaurant and cafe is also available for lunch or snack.Parking can be a problem at busy times. Also its a windy beach so make sure you take a strong tent or umbrella that does not get blown out easily.

Gorgeous spot. Read my review for the Anna Bay Sand Dunes for info about camel rides, attractions and parking. We went on a red flag day (surf too rough to enter), so we didn't partake. But you can bet that it's often windy (that's what makes the dunes!)For a better beach experience, head south, you have all of Stockton Beach to enjoy!
