Not to be missed! A fun day out for the whole family! Usually runs in the first two weeks of September, in Currumbin. Come and see some amazing sculptures that are showcased alongside the beach.

Swell Sculpture Festival
A fab experience to see sculptures on nature’s best backdrop. The beach and sea. Such talent and great pieces of art work to see. Suitable for families with small children. Parking can be a bit busy esp on weekends. Catch it if you can as it’s only on for three weeks. You won’t be disappointed.

3rd year that I have gone. Loved the diversity of the art. Fantastic for local artists and the international contingent. Will keep coming..it is getting better year on year.

Swell Sculpture Festival
I have been going for probably 10 years and will keep on going. There are good and bad installations but still worth a visit. There are some very talented artists out there. And the location is sensational at beautiful Currumbin beach worth the trip just for that. Be warned this is a popular event and on peak days such as weekends it will be busy so either get there early or get public transport.

World class artworks with a stunning beach backdrop. Day or night, this is a festival gem in the Gold Coasts crown.The only downside is that its only on show for two weeks each year.

such amazing festival. I really enjoy it and recommend it to everyone. The best thing about this festival that makes it so special and unique is where it taking place which is by the sea. beach gives the statues very spectacular vibe. don’t miss it out.
