Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. We ordered the marron & crab share platter with an Asian slaw, bread, Dukah etc.Marron was cooked beautifully ( 3 tails) the crab was a disappointment. Was water logged, unfortunately overcooked and mushy. Also had a carbonara which was nice and 2 pork spring rolls with slaw at $15 which wasn’t worth the value . Maybe if there was 4 spring rolls as they were just standard size.Presentation and service was great .

Amazing lunch! Our group of 6 were all so delighted with meals and whole experience.Half the group were not seafood eaters, but such a well thought out menu to cater to everyone. Don’t shy away even your not a seafood connoisseur!!Carbonara was delicious. The butterfly Marron was perfection and cooked fresh to order from live in the tank.A beautiful surround, great drinks menu, very good value for money for the quality and experience. Owner Deb and the team are all so lovely and welcoming. 100% The best food stop on our entire south west trip.We also got gorgeous little hoodies to take home for our little ones, great quality and adorable designs.

We enjoyed our lunch. Good burgers and they had chips...Friendly staff and pretty quick service. A bit of a playground for the kids and a nice outlook.

The Marron flesh itself was lovely, but the menu stated it to be cooked with butter and garlic" .. definitely wasn't cooked in butter and there was absolutely no taste of garlic. The side salad was very good. Need to present what is stated on menu."

My wife and I went for a birthday lunch. Booked and given a table by the window looking out over farmland.Service was great and very pleasant. Able to answer all questions about the food and wine as able to talk to a real person and not an IPad. We are from the Perth and hate that trend.Ordered the marron tasting plate to share as entrees. Very suitable to share if ordering a mains. We both ordered the grilled marron as a main course. I asked for chips instead of salad as I had seen chips available as a separate item. No problem at all.Marron was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of garlic. The chips were excellent; crunchy and soft in the middle. For dessert, I had the homemade vanilla slice with a fruit coulis. Delicious and the coulis almost a fruit compote.Rounded off the meal with a West Cape Howe white.Would most definitely recommend this restaurant.

We contacted Debbie about a possible lunch visit by our group of 12 people, and on the morning of the visit, confirmed the number and the time. The calls were all very professionally taken. It was nice that we arrived during Happy Hour. I got to buy and taste a few wines. The variety of wines from the southern region was quite impressive. Bloody good wines too!I ordered Marron Fettucini while a few of us ordered Marron Laksa, Thai Green Curry and Butterfly Marron. My dish was a little dry. Debbie added extra sauce, and it was good. We ended up chatting about how the more subtle marron taste contrasted with that of crayfish, and I gathered that there was a balance to be had in the use of sauce. I thought it would be a challenge to cater for different palates. In all, our big group posed, for some, a challenge in receiving a 100% experience. When a few orders seemed to have been wrongly done, the owner was apologetic. I concluded that one needed to know the taste of this delectable crustacean especially if eaten for the first time.I would return and sample more dishes on offer.

Very friendly fast service. The food was great. I had the butterflied garlic marron, chips and salad for $42. I would say it may be slightly over priced, but was delicious and fresh. The flavour was overwhelmed by the amount of garlic, so it was hard to taste the sweetness and delicate flavours of the marron. Perhaps less is more... But all round very nice.
