Simmo’s Accident Repair Centre

Simmos went above and beyond with the work that my car required for a blue slip. Their work was thorough and professional and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. All the team were outstanding with their communication. Highly recommend them for any car related work.

My insurance company (Suncorp) accepted my damages claim online and organized a rental car through the local Hertz Agency. Simmos took my severely damaged car under their wing and fixed it. Great communications with Simmos over the next two weeks and Suncorp continued to organize rental car extensions, so I have been minimally inconvenienced, other than the repair taking longer than expected due to wiring and computer damage, which Simmos explained thoroughly and offered apologies for taking longer than expected to fix. Last minute glitch with a remote lock was taken care of without any excuses. Good work, gang!If all businesses would operate like Simmos has, I would be a very happy long term resident of Byron.

When I first moved to Byron a couple years ago, all my friends who are locals told me to take my car to Simmo's for anything I need - and I'm so glad I have. Every experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and it feels so good to trust that they are always doing their best, and at a reasonable price. Super grateful, and evidently would highly recommend Simmo's.

Been using simos for over 10 years. Best mechanics in Byron bay hands down .Always go the extra mile and they do everything tyres/servicing/smash repairs/detailing /towing and I’ve used all.

My car was rear ended and the lady's insurer organised repairs at Simmos. With a newborn I wasn't looking forward to the process but the staff were all lovely, they have the hire car company embedded in the reception and got me in straight away. Great repair job and even cleaned the car inside and out which was a bonus. Highly recommend

I hope you see this before you even get a quote. Just ask any locals and they'll all tell you to just don't go to Simmo's, wish I had asked around before... My experience, they stuffed up and didn't care, so I ended up with a very expensive and poor quality reapair, plus a whole lot of problems with my insurance. There are plenty of better options in town and they also do insurance jobs.

Please don't t go there!! We made an appointment because we had problems with our car! When we arrived, they told us that they couldn't help us!! We told them everything about our problems and what kind of car it is at the phone already int the end it was to old and didn't had any person to fix it at all (have to ring somebody in). Just a waist of time and totally unfriendly wouldn't even bother giving them one star but that's the minimum unfortunately! -.-

I asked for a quote and they got me to upload photos - they're obviously not interested in the job but don't have the guts to say so, instead they just don't pick up when I call. I know they log numbers because the second time I called they knew my name. Called from a landline and they picked up right away. They've wasted so much of my time.

I came in with a tire puncture traveling to Sydney. The team were exceptional and, plugged within the hour. Thanks for helping some city slickers out.

A highly proffesional outfit. From recovery (Ben) to service (Barry), the team at Simmos were excellent. They recovered our broken down car (in middle of hinterlands) and put it back on the road with such efficiency and courtesy, it felt like our own concierge service!It is rare to find a combination of genuine assistance without the cost, and the team at Simmos will have my repeat service as a result.
