The staff were so lovely and friendly. Our honest opinion, was the worse curry we've ever experienced. We payed $175 for over saucy or watered down dishes with not much content inside. Naan bread tasted reheated and never have we ever had a lamb korma that was sweet and as pale as this. Disappointed and unfortunately we won't be back..

This place was enjoyable and surprising for a small country town and I would like to have given five stars but couldn't quite. The food was tasty and fresh, though a little too salty. Service was friendly and sweet but slightly clumsy; they made two errors with my order. When I paid the bill, a couple of items were inexplicably more expensive than listed on the menu, and they charged me for an item they'd forgotten to bring.

I've never had such nice Indian cuisine. The Lamb Korma is so smooth and has a flame grilled flavour to the dish. The staff are polite and attentive. I always look forward to eating here when I travel through.

We went on a public holiday and were so thankful that this place was open. The place was quiet at the time (presumably because it was a public holiday people didn't really know it was open) and we decided to order take out. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. I personally ordered the butter chicken (because I am a basic white man), and the smell was mouthwatering good. And the taste was so good. Personally it is the BEST butter chicken I have ever had and I devoured it. Such a shame it's in Naracoorte and I live up in Adelaide otherwise I would keep coming back to eat every other week. Naracoorte's best kept secret honestly. Thank you for the tastiest meal and beautiful service!

In Naracoorte for two nights, the restaurant was recommended by our motel. We were particularly attracted by the Persian cuisine offered, but once seated and about to order, were told it was not being offered tonight. Very disappointing! This food sounded great. The indian alternative was average. Mango prawns and butter chicken were both slightly sweet and 'mild' spice was actually zero spice. Food servings were generous, though too much sauce. Complimentary papadums was a nice touch. The staff were very pleasant and attentive.

No reservation, just turned up for lunch. The staff were super friendly & accommodating & attentive the whole time.Pity Persian kebabs not made at lunch time. However, 3 mild curries, beautiful rice, poppadoms & chutneys were amongst the best we have eaten (we’ve eaten a LOT of Indian curries). Also loved by the kids. Highly recommended!

A decent spot for indian cuisine in a small town. We've visited for a late lunch at 2.30 and the staff greeted well and took the order. Paneer entry was delicious and has a nice hint of spice to it. Ordered beef biryani and chicken biryani. After a while the chef came to us and asked if we are ok to use chicken tikka for the biryani as they ran out of normal biryani chicken which we agreed to. Surprisingly chicken tikka biryani turned out to be the best dish of the day. Serving size is quite generous for 4 people. Loved the ambience and hospitality.

Service was outstanding. The atmosphere was nice and comfy. Meals were ok. Actually, a bit on the boring side as the lamb vindaloo was not hot at all (as in spicy) - it wasn't even at mild. The butter chicken was very salty, the basmati rice was served cold and the garlic naan lacked the flavour of garlic.

I would give zero star if I was allowed to.I have tried so many indian food and this is the worst Indian ever!! No sorry the food didn't really taste like Indian!!! Food was horrible.Chicken Tikka... fairly big size 4 pieces of chicken, however reheat by microwave.Ordered chicken korma and lamb madras for main. The curry sauces for both curry were exactly the same....one with a lot of sugar that made up korma and the other one with a lot of salt which made up madras. I have never seen a madras curry could be that YELLOW! We double checked with the waitress and she said the order was right. The texture of curry was terrible, like peanut butter with water, no taste of spices...I didn't know what I was eating, very gross. I really think the chef doesn't know how to cook indian food, the curry might be made by pre mix power and the chef didn't even mix the right amount. To be serious, the curry pack you can buy from supermarkets tastes million times better!!Then moved on to cheese naan, NO that was not a naan bread at all. Not soft not chewy not fluffy..it was something like a hard roti and the cheese used was ricotta cheese?? Anyway cheese inside didn't melt and was grainy. Lastly, stream rice tasted salty. The only thing that tasted good and right was the bottle of red. What a shame that the chef has ruined this restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere but horrible food. $100 Never again.

Great food. Dining experience was spoiled by being shown a menu with prices, but being told that was the takeaway menu and charged extra for dining in!!! They knew we were dining in so why weren't we shown the right menu. I believe there was only one menu and they chose to rip us off.
