Booti Hill and Wallis Lake walking track
Spectacular views and varied ecology. Solid, enjoyable walk. National Parks are doing a great job of management and protection with new trails under construction.

You can do this track from Elizabeth Beach to The Ruins campground, or as a loop by combining it with the Lakeside Walking track next to Wallis Lake. The Booti Hill section is hard going with steep climbs at each end and the track is quite eroded in parts. Plenty of tree cover so even on warm days you’re in the shade most of the time. No water or toilet on the track, there are facilities at the campground and Elizabeth Beach. Excellent views available of the coastline and beach as well as of the rainforest.
