Had my new car service and checked only to find out was not told break pads where at metal on metal .Clearly did not say one word to me and or tell me breaks need replacing and let me leave with Dodgy break padsTheir response car yard knew this about breaks and yet both did not day one wordClearly it’s not hardStay well clear of this mechanic as I’ve now had to fork out $1300 to have Rotas and breaks replaced by my mechanic

Had a knocking sound in my car, called the lads and they had me booked in the next day for a diagnosis. Had a result with 48 hours (needed a new engine) Dave and the boys had it all sorted within a fortnight and my car is now better than when I first got it! Thanks heaps for the great service!!! Would highly recommend.

See these on group on, Raa approved work shop what could go wrong.Extremely happy with the communication from them, had the car to them at 8:30am and had a call at 9:30am with a list of things that they suggested to do. They where happy to work with me on what I could afford. Very happy with there professional attitude on communication with me and working to my budget. Will be back in the next two weeks to sort out other issues. Thanks David and his staff.

My old 92 Fairlane v8 was running really rich and had shocking fuel economy and lacking power. Luke spun it up on the dyno and tuned it. Now the car is running better than it ever has. Fuel efficiency is at 9.7l/100kms and it has way more power.

Used a Groupon voucher here for a car service with oil and filter. Car seemed fine afterwards, however at the subsequent service it was found that the oil sump plug was screwed in so badly that it had threaded the sump pan, requiring a full replacement. 100s of dollars later I can say that it's really not worth the discount if it'll cost more in the long run for shoddy workmanship.

They disconnected my dash cam as they said they do that to all the vehicles that come in as the boys don’t like being filmed. This is unacceptable as when the engine is off so is the dash cam. I could not trust them after that as I now have no footage of what they have done to my car or where it has been. The manger Chris did apologise after a heated discussion and asked for a second chance but we said no as untrustworthy. I will never go there again.

Highly recommend. I found these guys to be Courteous, Professional and Attentive. Needed a timming chain and clutch replacement, made a email enquiry. Chris called me the next day with a estimated quote for the work. Called in and spoke with Chris who gave me detailed run down on the work and parts required and timeline. Booked in for work the price came in under quoted amount and the work was finished quicker than estimated. Top job Hamstead Auto Repairs.
