A&L Windows & Doors

All window and sliding doors in our new house are double glazed: these were supplied by A&L. In seven months we have had three panes of glass in doubled glazed windows crack and break. A&L would not offer a plausible explanation. A&L repaired the first window no problems, the second took months to be replaced and now A&L don't want to know. A&L's warranty for such failure is seven years, but now they won't even answer a telephone call. My professional engineering assessment is .. glass is thin and of inferior quality, not to the AS/NZ standard, and their manufacturing processes are flawed.

Worst service ever! Apparently you order through Queensland office & only have a sales person one day a week in Heatherbrae office if I wanted to talk to someone.

These guys were contracted by our builder for our external windows and doors. They became our problem after handover though as they still hadn't gotten our front screen door installed. They finally showed up a month after our handover only to discover that the door they'd made opened in the wrong direction! They had to send this back to Brisbane to get fixed (along with a few window screens that had loose mesh). Organised the date for them to come back, took a day off work, and they didn't show up. No courtesy call or contact. Had to call them to find out the door had been damaged in transit! So we are still lacking a door and now our replacement window screens and have wasted 2 days of leave waiting around due to their incompetence. What a joke of a company.

Complete lack of competence in all aspecs of the company. Orderd sliding door When it turned up no notification at all. No keys with the door. How do i lock/Access my house??? Asked for a security door to suite. Didnt come. Ontop of that asked for a specific measurement and it came 20mm too big. Whatever you do, Do not do business with a and l. bunch of complete imbeciles.
