Australia Post - Karawara LPO

Rude, lacking basic customer skills and tried to overcharge me on international post. I am not one to call people up on english skills but level is worrying considering they are handling a lot of mail. I read these reviews before going to the shop but turns out they were exactly on point. Save yourself the hassle and go to another post office

They’ve put someone behind the counter who doesn’t understand a word of English. My girlfriend asked for a Photo ID Card. They could simply say we don’t provide that service here.But instead they took a photo of my girlfriend, they charged her $17 for it and didn’t even apologise for not being able to help or even thank her after her payment was approved.Australia Post should really review this business’s performance because I read other reviews and lots of other customers had bad experiences as well.

Highly recommend this post office. Super friendly staff who deal with my orders really well! I've switched from going to my previous post office to this one as the customer service is that much better!

Daniel and crew are all very friendly and welcoming. We have no complaint about the service when you are in the Post Office. However, they can improve their customer service by answering their phone. I don't know why they bother posting a phone number on their website when they are just going to ignore callers anyway.With the current COVID-19 climate, it would help parents with small children, elderly and other customers who calls them for simple queries without having to go there and crowd the small area.

My parcel has been sent way up north I have no idea why

Aweful staff training. First, when I approached the counter and asked for the products she was still scrolling on her mobile and did not respond. Also, the staff kept saying I’m from China when I had already told her that I am from Taiwan. She didn’t apologise for her slip of tongue, either. They should be trained to understand cultural diversity and inclusiveness to provide better service and at least respect and listen to their customers, especially Curtin Uni is just near by and there will definitely be a large number of international students needing service from this site. It’s a shame that people would think Australia is not open and friendly towards different cultures just because of the service they provide. Overall again, very disappointing.

Passport photos they took of my son were refused for being too light. They need to be darker. Don't get your passport photos done here.

Disgusting how they make me put my baby on the dirty floor for a passport photo. There should be a clean and safe way to take baby photos, if not they shouldnt do it at all.

The gentleman were so helpful with me packing some glass jars to post interstate. When I couldn't get them to fit into a large box, I missed that they had extra large. I picked up a huge size box. They came out from the service area to show me the extra large size and showed me that bubble wrap has tear hole.
