Moon & Spoon

I ordered the All Day Breakfast and a mug of cappuccino to wash it down.The most disappointing thing I find when I order a plate containing Bacon, is when it arrives & I find it is either undercooked, or worse still, NOT SHORT CUT. As I result, I left most of mine on the plate.The rest of the ADB was tasty enough. The hash browns were crunchy & a decent size when compared to what you get at most places. The mushrooms were plentiful, I counted four small cherry tomatoes, a slice of toasted sourdough and my two eggs done sunnyside up.Call me hard to please if you like, but I expected more for the price even if the menu wasn't offering any more.Re-reading the menu as I let breakfast go down, I noticed scones with jam and cream for $10:50. Because I couldn't remember the last time I had a scone, I decided to give them a go.Two scones were delivered on a plate with strawberry jam and fresh cream.The scones were so hot, I can't imagine they came from anywhere other than a microwave oven.The Moon & Spoon seems popular enough with the regular crowd, but I feel it has a lot of room for improvement.

Extremely quick service, nice food and lovely staff the few times we've visited. Catered to allergy with no issue.

Quick service but the eggs benedict was awful. It was drowned in hollandaise sauce and the smoked salmon was a terrible quality with small bones in it and really rough chewy edges. The poached eggs were over cooked with solid yolk inside, and the toast tasted stale and dry with an odd chewy texture. Overall inedible - very disappointed!

Yummy breakfast before shopping. Good range of options and friendly service. I had eggs benedict which was generous serving and best quality.

Good range of snack items. My focaccia was a beauty. My pot of tea was good and well presented too. My lemon tart served without cream or any garnish was overpriced at $7.90. I was quite shocked at that pricing. Service was nice and friendly. Shame about the tart which held the score back here

Enjoyed Smashed Av and a couple of flat whites here. Lets just say it's a tad on the expensive side, but amazing for Forest Hill food/coffee standard. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a cafe at the centre. Better than you'll find outside or at the food court. Coffee 4 out of 5 stars. Really yum.

Pancakes were dry, small and bland. Caramel Milkshake was just milk
