I had such a great experience hiring a medieval dress for a school function. I was impressed by the range, especially their plus size costumes. The staff were friendly and ensured the hiring process went smoothly. One accessory from the dress had minor wear and a small rip which they completely understood and did not fault me for. Will hire from them again.

Best help ever at Jo Jos. Where online couldn't deliver or provide what we needed Jo Jos went out of their way to not only find what we were after but also supply it at better price and order so it was delivered on time. Can't wait to show off our wings! They have over 3 shops worth of items. The body art selection alone is amazing.

Hey JoJo's, thank you so much for the amazing party you put on for Zoe. The kids loved Princess Elsa and the jumping castle. The range of partyware at your shop was huge and i pretty much got everything i needed with the help of the lovely girl there. And the guy who delivered the tables & chairs & marquee was so nice. These people do not even deserve a star. They did not have what they advertised on their website. The order was delivered late and collected late also. The biggest shock was the claim for cleaning. When I packed the goods ready for collection, I saw nothing untoward. They managed to scam" $60 from us for supposed invoices from their cleaner. I think that was probably supplied by their relative. I would never use these people again."

Terrible terrible place. My partner and I booked a Scooby Do mascot and Giant Snakes and ladders on July 12 for our wedding on the 23rd of July…. more for us then the kids. We were told pick up was the Friday, for Saturday wedding and drop off was Monday as not open Sundays. Come the day of pick up, I sent my mother and friend 50 minutes away to collect, for them to be told “we can’t find it”. They couldn’t “find” the body to the mascot and the Giant snakes and ladders, we were offered other options however we were only interested in the items we booked and PAID $275 for. Unfortunately myself, my husband and 80 other people were really let down by this company as Scooby do was supposed to be the highlight of the night. I have been told a refund is in place however after reading some of these other reviews, I doubt it will be received….I’d like to think this company would do the right thing as I’d hate to take things further. Please do not hire or support this business, it is a very disorganised business.

The woman serving was unfriendly, rude and seemed genuinely put out by being asked any questions in relation to her store and it's products. I'm always surprised when customer service seems to be such a bother for staff when you have your own business. However, not an issue for me at all, as we went elsewhere and hired 6 costumes. Side note - Pinatas sell for $35.00 but the exact replica can be found at Spotlight and The Base Warehouse for $19.00. Buyer beware, this shop is rude and overpriced!

I called to collect some ballerina figurines for a birthday cake. Having called other cake places before, I knew the going price was $1.25 - $1.50 per figure. The lady made up a price of $3.50, but I didn't want to make the trip to Tuggerah so I swallowed the scam and said ok. When I was paying for the ballerina and as the owner (?) Was putting them into the bag, she broke one and said you can just take them off" knowing I wouldn't actually check. Went to put the ballerinas in my daughter's cake and sure enough

Very disappointing service. Was quoted a price for balloon and cylinder hire but when the items were picked up they forgot" to add the price of two balloons and weights. Customer had to pay extra due to staff errors which is unacceptable customer service as no alternatives were offered. After looking at competing businesses better quality items and service was located. Unfortunately it was left too late to source competitors items.Get in writing exactly what was negotiated between you and the staff member before agreeing to the terms and price. Better yet look elsewhere for better products and customer service.Would definitely not recommend."
