Quite majestic when you are just right below it. Simply love it!Worth the trip here. The car park is just right next to the Fall. Just have to follow the steps down. 150mStraw Fall is just about 100m down the trail and definitely worth a trip down if you are ok with the river crossing (more of rock hopping)********UPDATE*******Erskine Fall Walking Trail to Lorne Caravan park return hike 7.5km x 2It’s like a Jurassic world there with all the fern trees and “obstacle course” created by the fallen trees and hanging thorny branches and numerous river crossing.I started at Erskine fall and walked all the way to the caravan park and returned to Erskine fall via the same trail. Took me a total of 2hrs and 55mins for the entire return hike. Glad to achieve a sub-3hr timing for the entire 2-way hike return hike. I would be back again to shave off another 10mins next time to a 2hr 45mins for the return hike. All in all, it’s an enchanting path that takes you to a different world, especially closer to the Erskine fall zone. I love it.

Erskine Falls
Recently visited Erskine Falls and was mesmerized by its beauty and tranquility. The falls cascade down a steep cliff in three tiers, with a deep pool of water at the bottom. The viewing platform at the top of the falls provides an incredible view of the falls and the lush greenery of the Otway National Park. The walk down to the bottom of the falls is easy, and the pool of water is perfect for swimming and relaxing. The area around the falls is full of wildlife. The falls are also a great spot for photography, with its unique vantage point and the stunning scenery. I highly recommend visiting Erskine Falls if you're ever in the area. It's a truly spectacular sight and a great way to spend an afternoon and make sure to wear appropriate shoes.

Get ready to climb approx 244 steps after viewing the magnificent view of Erskine falls. It's fun to go close to the waterfall but you have to be very careful. Very slippery surface. Make sure you don't fall down. Rare mobile reception so enjoys the beauty of nature. Spend at least an hour and relax

The falls is in Lorne. On the way to Great Ocean Road. The waterfalls was quite scenic and there are 2 view points one from the top and the other from the bottom . There is no entry fees and all public facilities are available here. There were steps for the view point and the steps were slippery

Wonderful waterfall to visit!! Wasn't too far to walk, although down stairs and back up, so need to have a reasonable level of fitness. The view from the first viewing platform isn't really worth it. But the bottom viewing platform is great. Option to walk over the stones to get closer to the waterfall.

Great place to stop! Really lush greenery and a beautiful big waterfall. You can go about 80m down and see the Top of the falls - great views.Or if you want some exercise you can continue down the steps, they are pretty steep, to the bottom and see the whole view also amazing.

As you descend down the winding road towards the car park, the fresh air and rich oxygen fills your lungs. It only gets better when you walk the remainder of the way down to the bottom of the waterfall via the descending steps. Also the natural stone steps are a good upgrade over the previous wooden ones which were rotting away into the mud and causing a slippery slope.

Warned about the bus loads of people at busy times, we headed to the falls at 5:30pm and had the place to ourselves. There are some steps down to the top platform, but the best views come from the lower viewing area, just you have to climb the 100s of steps back up. There are a few benches to rest weary feet.

Amazing falls with steps down to two look outs, higher lookout about 40 steps down and lower lookout about 230 steps down. Steepish descent down to Car park with plenty of spaces. There's a warning that coaches shouldn't go down. Can climb over some rocks to cross over shallows to get to the waterfalls. Absolutely worth it!
