Optus Strathpine

Glad I didn't read other reviews before going there. Had been having nightmare experience with call centre. Went to strathpine store and they were amazing and sorted my problem. I can't thank them enough especially Harry.

Only after a quick sale which leaves you having to call up Optus sorting out account registration which the store said was sorted but never was.

Harry a customer service representative had amazing service he listens to what you need instead of trying to push you to buy things you don’t want or need he deffenitly is the definition of putting the customer 1stThank you harry

The BIG thing about my regular visits to the Wheelhouse, apart from the coffee, is the staff. Always a friendly greeting, and they quickly get to know your name. That is so important for customer relations.

If I could give zero stars I wouldSteph the manager is the rudest manager I’ve ever dealt with. Right off the bat when we were speaking to another consultant she was argumentative and dismissed what opus had said over the phone. There was a small scratch across the screen which Optus said they would adhere to a warranty claim. Instead she said no it was insurance yet it was a system glitch which is under warranty. The guy called Optus who said it was still under warranty but he disagreed said it was majorly damaged due to her- it is not. My wife said “it’s a scratch and we would be putting a complaint” in for her to interrupt and said we were being rude while looking down her nose. Told her she was the one being rude and that she wasn’t even dealing with us she didn’t have to put her two cents in.. threatened to kick us out even though we weren’t aggressive like she was, we stated we won’t be spoken to like that she didn’t need to jump in and she grabbed the phone off the guy who was dealing with us while he was on the phone to Optus and kicked us out the store. Get a new manager even speaks to her staff like rubbish.Also wouldn’t tell us her name or give a business card after us repeatedly asking to make a complaint.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour by the store manager. I have never witnessed anyone be so rude to their customers. A serious change needs to be made to this store, the manager was so rude to a customer near us. We walked in looking to purchase a new phone and plan and after seeing the way she handled the situation we left.

my 85 year old mum went to this store to upgrade her phone . she was told they couldnt help her with a phone , and even if they could that they would not help her get the new phone going or transfer the data for her . they sent her to office works . they were courtious but help was nonexistant . this would not have happened in a telstra shop .

I would give then no stars. First staff appear to pretend no one is waiting. Cannot answer questions re international roaming nor interested in making sure account details are correct on their. All this in the face of current data breach issues. They are referred me to phone optus myself rather than use shop front.

Went in today to upgrade my plan & i was serviced by the lovely Max ! He was absolutely lovely and beyond helpful. His fellow staff (Micheal & Cameron) we’re an absolute vibe to be around aswell. 10/10 for service and communication !!
