The Vintry

We arrived there and walked in to a dirty, used ear bud/Q tip. There were ants and the pillows were extremely dirty. We couldn’t stay there as it was extremely unhygienic. The carpets had not been vacuumed and there was rubbish left in the floor. Extremely shocking experience. When we contacted Greg Mincher, He was extremely rude and unhelpful when we asked for a refund. He verbally abused us and made threatening remarks and made suggestions that he had been following us. He somehow knew what cinema we visited and what movie we saw (creepy). Do yourself a favour and stay away from this place. Dirty facility with an even dirtier owner.

Good sized rooms. Kitchen has everything you need to host a party. Well heated.

After entering into a legally-binding contract for sale, Greg terminated our contract, severely disrupting our holiday plans, presumably upon receiving a better offer for the lease of his property. This was actioned under the guise of a failed transaction; which Greg made no effort at all to resolve. I would not recommend conducting business with Greg as he is an untrustworthy businessman with a poor regard for ethics or for his customers.

If I could give 0 stars I would.Myself and some friends decided to book with Greg for a holiday. Due to the uncertainty of the current climate we waited for accomodation to be booked before organising plans. After confirmation with Greg, transport was organised to the hunter region. Greg then cancelled the booking and we were left stranded. Due to COVID it was incredibly difficult to organise alternate accomodation and ruined our holiday. Greg provided poor communication as to the cancellation and didn’t endeavour to help our group. I wouldn’t recommend vintry to the public let alone my friends.

Very poor experience with the host. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Had a fantastic weekend away staying in the tiny house at the Hunter Valley! Very private space with a very short trip into the main town. Greg was extremely hospitable and helped us with recommendations and anything we needed he dropped over. The tiny house was extremely clean, modern and pleasant experience. Would definitely return.
