Absolutely exceptional service. The guys at SSV helped me out with a new amp, wiring kit and sub for my Sprinter van. Not only did they give me a great price on the parts but they helped answer my questions about my install and troubleshoot any issues I had along the way, even though I didn't purchase the head unit or speakers through them. It's rare to find customer service this good these days and for that reason I'd wholeheartedly recommend SSV to anyone.

I purchased a supplied and fitted sound system for my 76 series Landcruiser. The wiring and installation was so neat, you couldn't even tell if the system was aftermarket. If you want the neatest and smart installation followed by extensive knowledge of sound system options for 70 series Land Cruisers, Nick at SSV is the man you need to see. This guy is basically a NERD when it comes to sound systems and has the most creative ways to install systems that doesn't compromise on space and looks. If you want perfection, confidence and experience, SSV in Thomas Town is the go. Right from the beginning till end was nothing short of perfection.My purchase:•Alpine 9 inch head unit•2 pairs of speaker pods to suit LC70s for 6x9 speakers•4 6x9 speakers• Custom made twin subwoofer box with ported slots for existing subs I own. Hence why the 2 subs look different from each other.• 2 mono block amps to power each sub• 6 channel amp to power 6 - 6x9 speakers.

Made the trip down to thomastown SSV, from Western suburbs as Keilor was closed on Saturday. Didn't have the JL c1-400x speakers in stock I was after but the owner was amazing in finding me another option from JL and really looked after me on price.Service was great, will be coming back for sure. Highly recommend!!

SSV & Nick were excellent - squeezed me in last minute to get a tracker installed, very appreciated and detailed recommendations on options for the vehicle that would suit. Would recommend!

These guys are amazing and local. Got my car head unit changed last year, so it was more user-friendly for myself and at that time, they noticed that my tyre was shredded, which they replaced with the spare tyre for me. Not many places would care about that, but they literally care about your well-being and there was no way they were gonna let me go with a flat tyre.Today, I got my car fitted with camera technology to make it safer for me as I drive. We came back due to how amazing they were last time. They helped me pick the most cost-effective ones and even spoke about their personal usage of the technology in their cars. It's absolutely worth spending the money with them. Love their customer service. I love that they actually care about their customers, including return.

Ssv did a clean install of a 12 sub and head unit for me. Install was great and everything works well

disappointing. bought a usb fitment for my patrol and it did not fit and wasn’t close at all. i emailed and asked what the go was. i got a reply saying to send photos. i sent the photos and didn’t hear back, sent them again and still haven’t heard anything.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of speaking with David at SSV, who provided me with some of the most unprofessional and rude customer service I have ever received. I am writing this review to share my disappointment and caution others who may consider seeking assistance from this individual.From the moment David picked up my call, it was evident that he had no interest in helping me or addressing my concerns. Instead of providing clear and concise answers, he responded with curt remarks and displayed a lack of patience, as if my inquiries were inconveniencing him.Not only was David unhelpful, but he also demonstrated a complete disregard for basic courtesy and respect. He interrupted me multiple times while I was speaking, showing a complete lack of professionalism. His tone was consistently rude and abrasive, leaving me feeling frustrated and disrespected as a customer.I hope that this review serves as feedback for the management of SSV, and encourage them to address the issues with David's behavior and ensure a more positive customer experience in the future.In conclusion, I strongly advise potential customers to steer clear of David at SSV, and perhaps SSV overall. His unprofessionalism, rudeness, and lack of expertise make him ill-suited for a customer-facing role.

These guys are awesome. I bought an Alpine INE 997 Head unit from them for my old mans D40 Navara in 2020 and opted to install it myself. They were more than happy to show me all of the options and as well assisted me in finding the necessary harnesses to enable the steering controls as well as the various options for installing the reversing camera. Additionally before installation they gave me a couple of tips on how to go about it too.The reason I am writing the review is to let people know how good the after sale service experience has been... just the other day the sound began to really play up in the car. I gave them a quick call and explained what was happening and was advised that it seemed to him one of the speakers might be shorting out. He said best bet would be to disconnect them one by one and see if the issue is resolved. And that if I couldn't sort it out just to come into the shop and the lads would have a gander at it.I ended up disconnecting each door speaker however the issue persisted so I bought the car in for the techie to have a look. Even though they were busy he made time to have a look and diagnosed the problem to be one of the tweeter speakers up against the windscreen which had shorted.It was all resolved in a matter of minutes! Much appreciated boyz!

I would not recommend this company to anyone that wants their vehicle to come back in a satisfactory condition after installation of product.My vehicle came back damaged and job incomplete in what I asked for.Totally unprofessional, incompetent for a straight forward job to have a camera fitted.
