Little gift shop located on the main busy street of Station Street in Box Hill, Melbourne. This shop has been around since forever, at least 50 years. This shop sells mainly to Chinese or Chinese speaking people, and especially to Cantonese speaking people. It stocks a large range of traditional Chinese products which would be hard to find elsewhere. Items include Chinese art books, Chinese calligraphy sets plus the calligraphy set items sold separately such as the rice paper, different brushes and brush sizes, the ink, the ink well, the ink stones. There is also a large section at the back of the shop that sells original Chinese paintings, some in traditional and some in modern themes. There are regular art exhibitions held there as well. They also sell Chinese plates, mahjong tables, different styles of mahjong sets and even the paper that goes on top of the mahjong tables. The mahjong tables are quite ordinary but they are available. They are the fold-up ones, plastic tops with drawers and extendable cup holders for each player. Other items include Chinese calendars, magazines, books, novels, story books, little novelty trinkets and even joss sticks. The book range is quite limited and they do not stock school text books - they do call themselves a gift shop after all. Overall, a nice place to browse, with lots of food stores for a quick bite.

Why is it called a gift shop when they can't even gift wrap ?
