After having two kids and spending the last 4 years putting my physical health at the bottom of my priority list, I was feeling super nervous about heading back into the gym.After 30 seconds of entering the gym, Lucy managed to push all those fears aside. She has created such a warn and friendly environment for her members.The added bonus is the awesome workouts and first class studio.Highly recommend!

S1 helped me fall in love with working out for the first time in my life. Im learning things that I never had the confidence to teach myself in a commercial gym. If you're a beginner or just looking for a friendly place to get a sweat on, check it out!

I was already with another gym and had absolutely no intention of joining S1 when I stuck my head through the door to have a look. Quick 5min chat with Lucy and a week later I'm doing a 5 day trial. The following week I was signed up and have been loving it so much that I've been doing 6 days a week since!Lucy is an amazing PT who I have been lucky enough to get a 1 on 1 session with a few times now and she even joins in and trains with me! Such an amazing person to train with and I could not be happier.

S1 Cardiff is amazing!I was skeptical and anxious having not walked into a gym for years! Especially not knowing anyone and being incredibly unfit! I came across the trial on social media and bit my tongue and gave it a go....It has been amazing and as a result have signed straight up!The manager Lucy is supportive, knowledgeable and is an infectious ball of energy that will inspire and motivate you to keep coming back!The other members have all been warm, friendly and on the same page. The gym boasts 'no egos' and it is exactly what i have experienced. If your on the fence- give it a go......The hard part is just getting out of bed and showing up- once you walk through the door, the team will definitely take care of the rest!

S1 is awesome.Gyms can be such an intimidating place to step foot into when you haven’t been in a long time but you will not feel this way with S1. S1 is supportive, judgement free, fun, and very sweaty with workouts being tailored to individual ability.Lucy and Tiff are friendly and welcoming and their wealth of knowledge and continuous support is greatly appreciated.I get major FOMO when I miss a class here!

Ive only fell in love with a few gyms in my life and this is one of them. I feel like it’s a little family that understands and supports each other. Lucy is an amazing trainer and makes me feel listened too and helped when ever I need it.I’m 43 and a single mum with a few injuries and I love to train knowing I’m safe and getting the best out of my session. My son is even welcomed when he is not at pre school and gets upset when I go with out him.Thank you S1 and Lucy for making such a beautiful environment.

I’m a brand new member to S1 Cardiff and have loved every class that I have been to. I’m a breast cancer survivor and am recently a brand new Mum. After chatting with Lucy she made me feel incredibly comfortable about making sure I told the trainers about my health history and was so welcoming to the gym. The workouts are so incredibly balanced and when you’ve had as many surgeries as I’ve had this is exactly what you need. Now to Mum life - it’s HARD to find a gym that can fit into new Mum life (especially when hubby is a shift worker) and the class times allow me to still prioritise my health so I can be the best Mum I can be.Three weeks in and I already look forward to my next class.
